“Awesome food, REAL BBQ here!! Always a great experience dinning here. Everyone in the family can find something on the menu. Servers are great every time we dine here, friendly, helpful when you cant quite decide what you're in the mood for they make great suggestions from the menu. Place is always clean, tables, booths, bathrooms everything is clean! Definitely will be stopping by again!”

“Came in for breakfast as it's just .4 mi. down from the Bristol Hotel. I sure am glad I found this place. I enjoyed the pork belly and home fries with candied bacon. Amazing. Spicy enough to get your attention but not so that it'll stop your food intake. Put some pepper jack grits on the side and you're leaving with a box. I'll be back when I come to the area again.”

The interior design and overall vibe create a comfortable setting that complements the style of food perfectly. The pulled pork sandwich showcased rich, smoky flavor and tender meat, with a variety of sauces that allowed for a personal touch. The only drawback was the bun, which became soggy not long after serving despite being toasted. Still, the overall flavor and portion size made the dish memorable. Service was courteous but limited, as our waiter was only present to take the order, deliver the meal, and provide the check. More attentiveness would have enhanced the experience. Pricing was surprisingly reasonable, with a full meal for two totaling around 29 dollars. Considering the quality of the food and the atmosphere, Southern Craft BBQ offers excellent value. “Disappointing food today, much below what I’ve experienced at their JC location over the years. The burnt ends weren’t really burnt ends and mostly cubes of interior brisket. On two separate orders of Hog N Home Fries the pork belly in them was burnt to solid charcoal pieces. And the sweet potato soufflé was mushy and not assembled like normal. The server was amazing, just issues in the kitchen, which lack oversight apparently.”

“If you are going to order carry out from here, I suggest you don’t. I ordered what the menu calls a, “Spicy Yardbrid” and look how delicious.. a tortilla, a piece of chicken, and a couple slivers of cabbage. They also got our order wrong, so we had to wait for them to correct it. By the time we got home, everything was cold. 🤌🏼”
