“I would definitely recommend J Alexander's to anyone visiting chattanooga! The food was great. I thought the food was well above average. Extensive menu and drinks options, and the atmosphere was pretty and well thought-out. Service was pretty good, everyone loved their food and had no complaints!”

“Absolutely wonderful experience the food was phenomenal all the staff were extremely attentive and amazing especially our server Carson who did a spectacular job the portions were very generous the tuna was cooked perfectly the prime rib was also cooked perfectly and such a fat piece and their aptly named best chocolate cake really was the best it's definitely a pricier menu but it's worth it 5 out of 5 recommend this place every time”

“Upon entering this restaurant, I was seated very quickly. My server did not hesitate to get my drink order taken. The menu was a little intimidating, but I promise you everything that came out of that kitchen looked so scrumptious. The mounds of mashed potatoes made me jealous that I did not get that for myself. It's the Mac and cheese that I received instantly made me feel I am thankful that I had what I received.The steak was grilled to perfection. The white bean soup that I had was so good, it had chunks of ham and bacon in it. Ultimately, I'm glad I came to this restaurant instead of outback steakhouse, which looked very dead inside and outside. I'm glad I went with my instincts and chose to eat here because after a really long day, having quality food in your body makes it worth everything.”

“The atmosphere is very intimate and calming. The food is good. Not great. I overpaid on my sushi (nothing special about it), the queso appetizer can be found at literally any Mexican-American restaurant. And Their lemon Herb chicken is as good as Costco's chicken. Like I said, the food isn't bad, it's just overpriced for it's mediocracy. You're better off going to Texas Roadhouse to at least have some complimentary bread. (Their mac and cheese is incredible though)”
