Broken Shaker - Chicago

“We were staying at the hotel next door and noticed they were very busy at breakfast time so we decided today to give them a shot and I’m glad we did! The girl working was super friendly and made sure everything was perfect. I got a salmon bagel that was very affordable and tasted great and my brewed coffee was very good. My husband got a breakfast bagel and potatoes and everything was fresh made and he said it was very good. I would not have thought about stopping at a hotel bar for breakfast but this is a hidden gem!”

“Loooove this place. My friend and I stayed at the hotel and ended our night at this bar. The workers were super friendly and helpful. They have a great menu: lots of options but not an overwhelming amount. We got the glizzy and it was just what we needed at the end of the night. Would definitely return even if we didn’t stay there. Lots of seating options. Would be a great choice for a date, friends, or family.”

“This was our favourite cocktail spot in Chicago. It’s casual, with an excellent vibe. The bartenders were all very friendly and made excellent recommendations. The service was fast. But, the cocktails were all a solid 10/10. A bonus 10/10 for the excellent music.”

“Loved the vibe. This is a good spot for a chill date night or hang with friends. Music was on-point, and low enough to hear conversation. The drinks are creative & crafted (I didnt see any batched or pre-mixed); which is important considering the price per cocktail. I dont mind paying more for good cocktails. We did not have food. I would recommend.”

“The bartender was rude and dismissive. Service was nonexistent, even though he claimed that they have table service. Never once were we checked on or asked if we wanted to get another round of drinks when our glasses sat empty for a long time. Cocktails were nothing special and overpriced for what they were.”
