“Came here from Boston on a business trip, staying at the Hilton and the food was excellent. The dumplings were presented in a very unique way. I have never seen before and they also tasted uniquely excellent. I highly recommend the pork pan fried dumplings. Look at that picture! I hope you go and have a great meal like I did. Emin was my waiter and he was fantastic.”
“I visited here on a short trip to Chicago last week. It was recommended by the hotel I stayed at, which was the Hilton Garden Inn next door. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was glad to see some dim sum when I looked at the menu online, and it didn't disappoint. I got the shrimp dumplings, scallion pancakes, and char siu bao. Everything was flavorful, and the chili oil and other provided condiments were a very appreciated addition. I will say, I expected more people to be eating inside at 8AM on a Monday, so I was a little worried that it might not be very good, but I was glad to be proven wrong. I think most people who were staying at the Best Western it's connected to were visiting Paris Baguette instead. However, if you are staying at either of the hotels, it's worth a visit especially for the dim sum.”
“Beautiful restaurant. Food was good and atmosphere and staff was great. Came in on a Wednesday night so no wait and very quiet. Guests of Homewood Suites gets 10% off and they had special of a free dimsum order with any entree.”
“Really yummy dumplings just super pricey for what you get. You get a discount if you stay at the BW Grant hotel. The restaurant is pretty and aesthetically pleasing especially for photos also”
“We recently visited Mei's to eat something quick. The restaurant was beautiful and we expected the service to be the same. As soon as we got in, there was a lady working at the reception who immediately told us "we're still serving breakfast" as if to dismiss us. We said that was okay and were seated after a while. There was only one other table that was dining in. The lady got our orders, we had our food and it was going well. We do not recall if she even introduced herself to us. While we were eating, she brought us our check, which was okay because we were not going to order more. But later when she was passing us, my husband asked her the directions to the bathroom and the lady asked me if I had paid. That really caught me off guard as if we were going to dine and dash. Even after I told her I had paid already, she came back again and said "you guys can leave whenever". I have never in my life been told to 'leave' an establishment even if it was a timed place like a K-bbq or a hotpot area. She seemed to be in a rush to get us out of that place as soon as possible, even when there were barely any people in the restaurant. Her overall attitude towards us was dismissive and rude. Really ruined our experience at Mei's.”
