“Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. A bit busy, as one expect on a weekend. Was pleasantly surprised when I ordered a martini and it came with a bit extra in a jug, which was kept cool by sitting in another glass with ice water. Deviled eggs were pretty good. Never had them with bacon, which was a nice touch. Prime rib was very thick and cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese had a perfect dish that kept it toasty the entire time, with a nice breaded crust. Portions were generous, with enough left to take home after.”

“In town from WV for Bruno concert. Establishment had raving reviews so we headed your way. Great choice, did not disappoint. Atmosphere moody and comfortable. Decor beautiful, loved the wine room, restroom well appointed. Hostess pleasant and seated us promptly. Our wait staff Sam was excellent, he was knowledgeable about specials of the day and other menu items. Drinks, starter and my california roll were out first. Best California roll I've had in awhile. The crossiants with honey butter were tender and flaky. They should also be on your dessert menu. My steak cooked to perfection, potato melted in my mouth, broccoli tender and flavored well. My friend had chicken special, says it too was tender and flavorful. Would highly recommend to family and friends and have. Will try lexington location soon. Hope it has the same high standards as this location. Thanks for a great start to a memorable day.”

“One of my absolute favorite restaurants. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed the steak topped with crab alongside a loaded baked potato, an incredible combination. I paired it with a Pinot Grigio, which complemented the meal perfectly. Everything was excellent from start to finish: great food, wonderful service, and a warm atmosphere that always makes the experience memorable. Always a place I look forward to visiting.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service and Delicious Food! We had such a wonderful experience at J. Alexander’s, thanks to our amazing server Laura! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely incredible — the chicken tenders were perfectly crispy and flavorful, the burger was huge, juicy, and had that perfect crunchy bite, and the salad with homemade croutons was honestly to die for. You can really taste the freshness and care in every dish. Laura made our 2 year anniversary extra special with her warm personality and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back soon and will be asking for her again!”

“Appetizers were too good. We had steak roll and the chips and queso. Both were highly recommended. Drinks (cocktails and wine)were pretty decent. Entree - steak was brilliant, fried chicken was too good and the salmon was spot on. Price is on the higher side. So please be mindful on that. Service was very good.”
