Lucia is an award-winning Italian restaurant owned by husband and wife team, David and Jennifer Uygur. The menu changes frequently and features hand-crafted salumi, fresh pasta and bread made in house daily.
“Had an amazing experience at Lucia. The struggle to get a res was worth it! The hand made pastas were delicious, especially the seasonal ravioli. We loved the simple salad (ironic bc it was very simple, but it was simply perfection). Our favorite course may have even been dessert. The parmigiana gelato was to die for….”
“We really enjoyed our experience. The staff were all super helpful and knowledgeable. They suggested we do it kinda family style and allow us to try different things. We made our reservation in about 3 weeks ahead of time. We got the bread and butter to start- both very fresh and tasty. Then we got 2 pastas (view photos and captions to see which ones) they both were tasteful and perfect balance of flavors, and then we got the chicken as the main dish and it was really great as well. We skipped dessert. And we paired it all with a glass of wine. At the end it ended up being roughly $100 each. So it is on the pricer end but we knew that going into it and really enjoy it !”
“Visiting from Houston, we came upon this place for a dinner with friends. We pretty much set ourselves up with a crazy dinner. Starting with oysters, octopus, and beef tartar. The second round consisted of 3 out of their 4 offerings of pasta. The group all had varying opinions of their favorite, but the risotto dish definitely had the biggest surprise amongst the four of us. By far the run away favorite but don't sleep on the ravioli. Main courses we had the chicken and the bass, the bass was definitely the preferred option. We all.have that one friend that has to have dessert, so even being full; we had the Gelato with the strawberries. Great Italian family style dinner. Would come again.”
“Wonderful foodie experience. Only downfall is you need to order everything at once, except dessert, which was okay but we were gently bullied into ordering a pasta course. That being said, the food was phenomenal. The menu changes weekly, so it will be a treat to return if I am lucky enough to get a coveted weekend reservation.”
“I recently tried all the food at Lucia, and while the experience was good overall, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. The service was excellent—the staff were attentive, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was also very nice, creating a comfortable dining setting. The food itself was great, but not quite at the level I expected given how much this place is talked about. The quality and taste could use a bit of improvement to truly match the reputation Lucia has. That said, it’s still a wonderful restaurant that I would definitely come back to. With just a few refinements to the menu and flavor profiles, it could easily be a five-star spot.”
