“Omg, what a fantastic spot. The staff is incredibly friendly and speaks both Spanish and Englis. My waitress KY was particularly lovely and provided me with excellent recommendations. Everything I ordered was delicious. I had the rigatoni with meatballs and the salad, which was a small portion, but you can get the big one. My wine was a delightful glass from Italy, and the chocolate dessert was simply divine. Make sure you’re hungry because this place is a must-visit! 🍝”

“Really great dining experience at Sassetta - highly recommend. Our group thoroughly enjoyed stopping here for an impromptu lunch. The menu had plenty of options for everyone. The service was great, with good recommendations on what to choose. Finally, the flavors of everything from the appetizers to the entrees were outstanding!”

“Fantastic dining experience in the heart of downtown Dallas. The rigatoni was among the best I’ve had in my entire life. Nothing short of life changing. Run—don’t walk—and order that dish. Also amazing: meatballs (appetizer), the filet and mashed potatoes, and the chopped salad. Great vibes and service was also good. Highly recommend!”

“Classy and elegant restaurant inside of a hotel building. Hostess was kind and attentive! Menu looked interesting so we tried the rigatoni and cacio e pepe. I thought the service was a little slow but they were attentive when communicating directly. I enjoyed the tiramisu martini! I thought the rigatoni was good but I really enjoyed the cacio e pepe! It was so flavorful and really allowed the simple ingredients to shine. Focaccia was also really delicious!”

“We were seated at the tables near the window, which are pretty small and very close to others. Although it wasn't very busy, it was oddly kind of loud. It took so long to be greeted or even get water that my boyfriend considered walking out. The Sicilian serenade omg it tastes just like a key lime pie, and the tiramisu martini was had a great taste but I could've done with a little less cream on top. The braised meatballs were so flavorful, but the bread to go with it was very dry. The tuna tartare had a great flavor, however I wish it was a bit more chilled and the chips were only okay. As for the pasta dishes my boyfriend really enjoyed his rigatoni and said it had a slight kick to it. I really liked the cacio e pepe, however I could've done without adding the chicken because the chicken didn't really add much to the dish overall. I was so excited to try the olive oil cake, it had great flavor but was kind of dense and dry. Also, something odd was that our server bagged up our leftovers and gave them to us before our dessert came out, which would've been fine if our table wasn't so small that with the dessert the table was incredibly crowded. I wouldn't recommend mostly due to the service, and although the food is good it's just not memorable enough to come back for.”
