“How have we lived in south Denver for years and NOT known about this restaurant?? We chose it for “date night” and simply had to offer our 5 Star review. The reservation system through Google Maps worked perfectly. We had a lovely, quiet table booth along the back wall. Our server (Kayla) did an amazing job taking care of our meal service. I greatly enjoyed the baby back ribs, and they might very well be the best Denver has to offer. The carrot cake at the end blew me away, since traditionally I don’t even like carrot cake! It was delicious. We highly recommend having your next date night at J Alexander’s!”
“It's really nice inside for a quiet dinner with friends and family. Food is amazing and the carrot cake is the best I've ever had! We had the deviled eggs for an appetizer and I had the Filet Mignon with a loaded baked potato and a carrot cake for dessert. 🔥 Also pictured is the roasted chicken salad everything we had was delicious.”
“The sushi and calamari was great. I usually order a steak. Has never disappointed. This time, decided to try their special. Steak Kabob. The plate was sloppy. The sauce was extra sweet and the rice was soaked with it. Should have stayed with my original. Ordered an appetizer dip. The chips were stale, old. Had to ask for fresh ones. What happened to quality? The quality didn’t justify the cost.”
“Dined during a weekday night. We didn’t have any reservations but was seated quickly. We ordered chicken tortilla soup and fillet mignon. Both were prepared fresh and the steak was cooked perfectly in medium. Finished off dinner with the carrot cake. l”
“Not bad... Got the chicken and pieces were super small compared to what I saw in other pictures, so might have gotten a bad batch. Not a big shoestring fries fan, but if you like then you'll be happy. Great Mac and cheese”
