Sited on the crest of a hill overlooking Lone Tree, Colorado, Sierra balances intimate indoor and outdoor dining experiences with sweeping vistas of the city lights and eastern plains beyond. Deeply inspired by rural Mexican architecture, centuries old brick and hammered copper catch dappled light during the day, while the vaulted steel ceiling is illuminated like a lantern at night. the atmosphere is established by the sights and scents of the wood fired oven and grill, while guests dine on classic, elegantly crafted American fare.
“I’m new to the area and randomly found this place and was impressed. The food was very delicious and all made fresh in-house. The drinks were really good too. Definitely recommend”
“Definitely worth the experience. Had great time with my husband when we planned to go for a dinner. We had mini chili releno, Norwegian salmon, crispy diablo sandwich, short cake strawberry cake, Texas chocolate sheet cake. With just having appetizer 2 each relenos we felt we were almost full not sure if it’s because of deep fried and cheese item but the taste was amazing. I was first skeptical to order Mexican dishes in American restaurant as I didn’t had great experience before but the chef made it really good. I loved my entree and tasted my husband’s as well both were great. Texas chocolate sheet cake was amazing but I didn’t like the strawberry short cake not up to the mark. Also I would suggest people not to take to go for desserts especially strawberry short cake. Just that if I had more room in my stomach it would have tasted even more great. 😊 but overall it’s a great experience felt like a romantic dinner date.”
“This place is classy. Beautiful views, dimly lit, fine dining experience. Make reservations because this place is really popular, even on a Tuesday night. Good Tex Mex. Seafood like the Alaskan Halibut is phenomenal. Appetizers like the Rellenos are to die for. Good drink selections, unique margarita flavors. Super-nice servers make it a great experience.”
“Our server, Sofia, was very knowledgeable about everyone item on the menu. She frequently checked up on us. The spicy margarita was delicious. We came for Sunday lunch and got seated right away by the large beautiful windows. We enjoyed the artichoke and tuna tartare appetizers since they ran out of the sashimi so we couldn't try that. The entrees were a bit a of a longer wait. I wish they brought out my salad when the other 2 entrees were ready since I didn't want to eat it all before my group could eat. It wasn't until 20 mins later that my boyfriend got his ribeye steak and our friend the pork chops. By then I was taking tiny bites and my salad eventually got a bit soggy. The steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare and the mash potatoes were super creamy and buttery. We didn't need any steak sauce for that matter! We got 2 rounds of margs, 2 apps, 3 entrees, 1 side, 1 dessert, and this was for a group of 3 people for a total of $350 before we added tip!”
“Overall, this place was pretty decent. It actually took me a while to decide what to order because the menu did not have a ton of options. We went with a fairly large group, and the service was excellent the entire time. Drinks and food came out quickly, and the staff did a great job keeping up with everyone. Just a heads up, they do not bring out any bread prior to dinner service. I ultimately ordered the chicken sandwich, and honestly it was a little underwhelming. It tasted good overall, but for the price I was expecting a thicker, crispier chicken breast with a little more flavor and texture. It just didn’t really stand out compared to similar sandwiches at other restaurants. That said, we still had a nice dinner and I’m glad we gave it a try. The atmosphere and service definitely helped make it an enjoyable experience. I’d come back again, but with so many good options around, I’m not sure this would be my first choice for the price point.”
