“Went in on a Saturday night in December to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a reservation for 2 and were sat at the bar. We ordered cocktails at the bar. The martini is a super cool presentation with a carafe and olives and chips to add salt flavors. Loved this! The bartender was an awesome guy and chatted for a bit. We ordered the grilled sourdough and the brussel sprouts to start. Was good and a nice bar snack. Then we ordered the burger and gnocchi to finish. They were both good. This spot is great for cocktails and snacks with a very hip and moody ambience to it, loved it!”

“We had a long break at a volleyball tournament so we decided to go get a drink not far from Hy-Vee Arena. We stumbled across one of the only places open on a Sunday evening. Luckily, this place was open and very inviting. They made room at the bar for us to come in and have a few drinks. Drinks were great and plentiful, then we got a little hungry. We ordered some truffle fries, which were amazing. Thankfully we ordered two orders. We ended up with a longer delay than expected. So I went ahead and ordered their Smashburger, which came highly recommended from the hostess and the bartender. That Smashburger was probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The bun was perfectly toasted very light and fluffy. The meat and cheese mixture with the onions and pickles were so good. I had to order another one to let my daughter eat after she played. So glad we came across this place. Next time I’m in Kansas City I’m definitely gonna go get another Smashburger.”

“This place is really amazing. The food menu is not extensive, but every item is well thought out and very tasty. The cocktails are center stage. The orange negroni is a marvel.”

“Excellent food, service, and Vibe! We have been a few times for snacks and drinks but the most recent visit was for dinner. We sat at the bar, the bartender (Jason I think) was awesome. Our drinks were so good. They have good music that sets the vibe without being to loud. Our Food was so good, we had the Olives, my wife had the smash burger and I had the seasonal pasta that was stuffed with carrot. We also had the smores for desert. I felt like the prices were really good for how excellent everything was. This is the kind of place I want to go to when I go out. There are a handful of really excellent restaurants in KC and this is one of them. It will stay on our favorites list for sure.”

“Bad service. Was a great restaurant in terms of a good vibe & amazing food! Unfortunately the experience for me and my girlfriend's date night wasn't what it could have been due to bad service provided from our waiter. Might try the spot again in the future because of how much we enjoyed the food. But hoping for a better service provided for the price point!”
