“Incredible food, knowledgeable servers, cozy atmosphere. We got 4 dishes to share as advised by our server, and they came out staggered so we could enjoy each one. Starting with the carrots, we were blown away by the flavors and sauces. The cauliflower dish was generous and couldn’t get enough of the curry sauce it was served on. The bao buns were the most unique dish we’ve had in a while. The inside is like a chicken soup. Hearty, brothy, with a soft delicate outside. The last dish was the only one I didn’t quite like but that was a personal preference on flavor. I loved the fresh pasta but was not a fan of the cold artichoke. Desserts: highly recommend the sundae and matcha pudding”

“Fantastic food, spectacular service, amazing atmosphere - everything was terrific!! Big flavors in every dish with flawless execution across the board. Literally everything we had was perfectly prepared and delicious. While KC itself may not have been a favorite, this restaurant was so good I would consider coming back just to eat here again. Bravo to the chefs and staff - they're all killing it!!”

“Thank you to all the workers and all those in the kitchen. My partner and I had several unfavorable services at proclaimed "fancy restaurants" but this place went above and beyond. They are welcoming, super friendly with everything and even quirky cute jokes that left my partner and I giggling. The food was so exciting. The drinks were delicious. I loved the calamari and smelt so much I got a second plate of the same thing. My partner loved the rabbit, first time and was so surprised. They really show out at this restaurant. Thank you so so once again for the welcoming environment and delicious plates that my partner loved to share. Beautiful and small intimate place to have a good time.”

“Made a reservation on our trip to kc. Heard the place was great and reviews of food looked good. We set a reservation on April 17th at 5 and apparently this is when they open. Staying downtown and not being familiar with the city our uber driver arrived earlier and also dropped us off about 20 minutes prior to our reservation. The entire day there was a storm warning with hail predicted but we went anyway. Standing outside on an uncovered sidewalk it started to lightning and thunder and then rain. I tapped on the window and asked if they would just let us in. There were several people at the bar and one pointed to the door and said we don’t open till five. As the rain poured we escaped about 300 yards away to the children’s hospital entryway. I called and cancelled my reservation and there was no remorse. Have no idea if the food is any good but the service and hospitality are lacking. It’s not like I was there hours early. We had stood outside waiting and then politely asked about 10-15 minutes before open. Treatment like this needs to be called out especially when staff is sitting at a bar talking.”
