“Went in on a Friday night with a reservation and were seated immediately. We were there on a night that KU played at T-Mobile center and so it wasn’t as busy as usual but would recommend a reservation. The restaurant is inside the Hotel KC, and has a very beautiful historic entrance and vibes and decor are charming and understated. There are cute little 2 seater tables with intimate settings. We ordered the lobster toast and the dinner rolls. Both were excellent. The rolls and butter and dip were to die for! With a cocktail and a glass of sparkling we enjoyed our mains, the chicken and the halibut. Flavors were divine and we very much enjoyed the freshness and taste. The size of the halibut piece was a bit on the small size but the chicken was the perfect size and flavors. $200 for 2 people with one drink, one appetizer and one main each with tax and tip, I thought was good value for the quality of food, service and overall experience.”

“The dining experience is one of the best. The staff are very friendly. We had ribeye steak, endive salad and black sesame almond cake. We love every dish we order. Every dish is perfectly cooked and delicious. A great place to dine.”

“Lovely meal! Only disappointment for me was the beef tartar which just tasted like pickles and overpowered everything else. Get the rolls with caviar and the lobster toast. Desserts were amazing - especially the blondie sundae.”

“Every item is scrumptious 😋 the portion is small but the taste is beyond my expectations, especially the pork belly and octopus and Mahi Mahi. The signature chicken meal is the ideal portion. Other than parking in downtown is a problem, definitely will be back again for the food. Setting in the iconic hotel is also nice.”
