“Louisiana Redfish was PHENOMENAL. Shrimp and Grits was EXCELLENT. On the apps: recommend the Pork Belly, Fried Green Tomatoes and the Crab Cakes - ALL AMAZING. Service was great too. Prices are a bit high, but typical for waterfront view, but they had a good bar happy hour and a BOGO half off entrée special for early diners, which was unexpected and appreciated!”

“UPDATE 5/31/26 : We didn’t have a great experience at THE Marina Café on New Year’s Eve, but we decided to give it another try, and we are so glad we did! Our experience this time was phenomenal from start to finish. Brian and Matthew (brothers) were absolutely amazing-attentive and professional, and genuinely friendly. The food was delicious and everything was timed perfectly, and the level of service exceeded our expectations. It’s refreshing to see a restaurant turn a previous disappointment into a positive experience. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Brian and Matthew for making our evening so enjoyable The food was delicious, but the overall experience was chaotic and disorganized! We arrived with our full party of 4 for our 7PM reservation, and everyone was present at check-in. We were told we’d receive a text when our table was ready, so we went to the bar to wait. After quite some time, we checked back with the hostess only to be told they were waiting on the rest of our party-despite all of us being there when we arrived. Our waitress was wonderful and clearly doing her best, but she was overwhelmed with too many tables. As a result, drink orders and food took much longer than expected. The food itself was GREAT, but the front-of-house coordination and staffing issues really took away from what could’ve been an excellent experience.”

“Our server Karmen was as awesome as the grouper cheeks! We were tipped off about Marina from a friend in Virginia and checked it out while on vaca here in Destin. The food, atmosphere, dockside views and server Karmen was all outstanding!! You DON'T want to miss this amazing spot!”

“This was a fabulous dining experience! From the food, to the view and the amazing service! We wanted a nicer sit down by the water restaurant and we got just that! The food was out of this world! We both wanted steak of some sort and pasta! We decided on the filet mignon wontons and that satisfied us for our steak so then we both ordered the Alfredo ravioli!!! Amazing! It had grilled chicken in it which was a great addition! The sauce was mouth watering! They brought us out fresh baked bread with oil to start! Delicious and a must go place if you’re staying in or near Destin!!!”

“Marina Cafe is always a favorite of my husband and I when we visit Destin. We were able to be seated write in front of the ocean, which was such a beautiful view. We had the pleasure of having Mike as our server. He was nice and knowledgeable. He made several recommendations, which we took him up on. We started off ordering cocktails. I had the white sangria and my husband ordered an old fashioned. Both drinks were just okay, but the star of the show is always the martinis, which was our next round of drinks. My husband also had a Moscow mule and he enjoyed it. For food, we ordered the calamari, filet mignon wontons, scallops and the red snapper. We enjoyed all of our food, but the dirty rice was a little too mushy for our liking, so we’d probably try something else the next time. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, and look forward to visiting again!”
