“I highly recommend Mad Nice! I went there with my family, a party of 6. The ambiance is superb with pink lights, lots of plants, and hints of pink throughout the establishment. The music wasn’t too loud so I could hear my family speaking. Madison our server was so friendly and attentive. Our table wasn’t quite ready at our reservation time which we didn’t mind, but our server gave us a complementary salad for our troubles which was so so kind. The salad had some spice to it and was the best salad I’ve had in a long time. The pizzas were delicious and unique. I’ll definitely be going back to Mad Nice next time I’m in Detroit!”

“This place is absolutely incredible! The waitress was so nice and helped us pick our meals and made our anniversary a blast. We tried the Branzino which was great. The chicken was so good it has honey and olives. They brought out some potatoes as a side which were great. Wine selection and drink menu was perfect. We had such a good time we came back 2 days later and tried the pizza. Definitely recommend the Shroom!”

From the greetings and conversation with both hostesses when we first walked in, to our amazing server Keli who answered all of our questions and made our night one to remember! “Mad Nice is a standout in Detroit. Beautiful interior, great vibe, and excellent food. We had the octopus, gem salad, Guanciale pizza, and duck pastrami cavatelli, and everything was delicious. The pizza had a perfect balance of savory and nutty flavors with a light, crispy crust, and the duck pasta was rich and satisfying. They also have a coffee shop and a private dining room, which makes the space incredibly versatile — perfect for anything from a casual coffee to a group celebration. Friendly service and a memorable experience overall. Highly recommend.”
