Nick’s Restaurant and Bar is an Italian restaurant in the Old Town Fort Collins neighborhood of Fort Collins.
“Nick’s is just good, plain and simple. Their prices are reasonable, they are not trying to be anything they aren’t, and my gosh that burger is good. Love the brussel sprouts Caesar to start, every pizza I’ve had here has been good. Today was the first time I’ve tried their burger and I think I have a new favorite burger in town. Highly recommend.”
“This is a regular spot for my husband and I for our anniversary, and it hits the mark every single time! The short menu means everything is made at an impeccable standard, and it shows. We started with the fried mozzarella then had the lasagna and chicken piccata & it was so delicious - as expected. Thank you, Nick’s and all of the great staff, for always taking such great care of us!”
“I really enjoyed the relaxed vibe at this place and the food was exactly what I was hoping for. The pizza had a great crust and the Italian dishes tasted like they were made with real care. It is a nice low key spot to grab a meal and a drink, and the staff made sure everything was handled well throughout my visit. I would definitely come back when I am in the mood for some comfort food.”
“This is probably my favorite restaurant in Fort Collins. This is a great spot for an affordable date night and I’ve been very pleased with just about everything I’ve eaten there over the years. Absolutely love their Hawaiian pizza, classic pasta dishes, and they’ve got some great apps (the new French onion croquettes were just okay though). Highly recommend. My partner and I come all the time and will be back soon! Also, one time my friends and I had a big table outside and NICK himself came out and gave us some limoncello which was dope.”
“We came here for my birthday and everything was pretty good overall but some things just tasted off. Service was great when present and the feel of the place is very nice. The wings and cheese bread appetizers were both great. Nick's burger and side salad were good as was the carbonara even though the egg was raw on top. Juicy burger though cooked perfect. The shrimp scampi was dry and had very little taste even with the vegetables. The chicken Parm was good but the spaghetti it came with justed tasted...weird and it was like 3 bites of noodles. The lasagna was a TINY portion for the price, was burnt to the pan it came in, and most of us at the table tasted something reminiscing of fish in it somehow. Tasted more like a chili than any lasagna I've ever had. We had reservations for 530 and got served 6:47. And I know they were busy and it was Sat night but I asked for Diet Coke 3x and finally got one when my dish was half gone. I've heard amazing things about this place so maybe my taste buds are just the ones off but I was expecting just a bit more from this place at most things being almost $20 a plate.”
