“My husband and I celebrated our 2-year anniversary at The James, and it was truly an incredible dining experience we will always remember. From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed and cared for. The food was absolutely exceptional. Beautifully prepared, incredible quality and flavor, and every bite was delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant is also absolutely stunning. A special thank you to Kathy, whose kindness, warmth, and thoughtful service made our anniversary feel extra special. She helped make an already beautiful night one we'll never forget. ❤️”

“Can I start by saying we already want to plan our next visit? We had a triple crown experience, atmosphere, great service and delicious food. We love that the menus change seasonally, the steaks are well sourced and nicely prepped. The sides were elevated without losing that comfort food vibe! The crab cake moved into first place position as best crab cake ever. It was moist with a crispy exterior, very crab forward. I had the filet, potato’s and veggies and I was not at all disappointed. Our server, Denise was super sweet. She was knowledgeable about the menu and prep as well as the wine selection. Desserts were wonderful- tasty and beautifully presented.”

“We had a great experience at the James. Andrew was our server and he was phenomenal! One of our friends has celiacs disease and he made sure that evening was taken care of so she didn’t have to worry. The GF menu is huge! And honestly as someone who isn’t GF, the GF blue crab dip and bread was delicious. The crème brûlée is a must try! 10/10 would recommend coming here. The food, the vibes, the drinks, the service - all wonderful!”

“The James has 2 very different vibes. You have outdoor which was super casual and then indoors was more refined. We ate inside, and I will say that the tables are a little too close together. They sat my husband and I in between the solarium and an interior room. We ordered cocktails first. They were just ok, definitely too strong to really get a taste. We got the Brie for small plates which was PHENOMENAL with the crisp apple slaw. We then ordered dinner, my husband ordered the ny strip which he said was “meh” and I ordered the crab cake - SO GOOD. We got a side of creamy potato’s and the carrots both good. We got the lemon berry tiramisu which was pretty good as well as the goodbye dubai drink - would order again! Overall this place had great food - ambiance was nice, not super loud.”

“Me and my family decided to try out this restaurant for an early Mother’s Day lunch. Our server was amazing and nice, she kept checking in on us. The drinks were also very good but it took a while to get them, our appetizer came out first. On the other hand, food was very disappointing. It lacked so much flavor and for the price point it is not worth it at all. Honestly will not be back.”
