“If you ever find yourself lost, and or visiting Peggy Bundy's relatives (you know Al's wife who scored four touchdowns in a single game), and you find yourself in Howard City, I would most definitely visit this restaurant. The restaurant has amazing Ambiance which is unique in and of itself. The staff are professional friendly polite easygoing and are more than happy to help you out. They have a great selection of food, drinks, and homemade desserts. I would most definitely visit this place again but like I said in the beginning please do avoid visiting Peggy Bundy's relatives; I don't think you want to go down that path 😉.”
“Excellent service, and exceptional food! Wide selection of drinks, appetizers, and entree’s. Cozy atmosphere with a small town feel. Will definitely be back for some more truffle fries and French onion soup!”
“Chelsea was our server, very knowledgeable about the menu, delightful and very efficient service. And food was outstanding. I had a grilled pork chop which was cooked to perfection and was complemented with a cranberry chutney So good I could have ordered it for desert. Portions are generous and we will be back!”
“Tiffany was our server and she went above and beyond. It was our first time there and everything we ordered was on point. Tiffany made us feel welcome and explained all the specials. I will definitely go back!”
“We came here for the first time last night. Wanting to sample the menu, we had two appetizers, the calamari and the wrapped dates with the arugula salad. Both of those appetizers were outstanding! My husband also wanted to try the bison chili with three add-ons: jalapeños, onions, and cheese. Surcharge for all three toppings. That was also delicious. I did think there should’ve been a piece of bread with the chili instead of crackers since it was dinner time. We decided to have the filet mignon special with “blue cheese, fondue“ and red wine Demi glace. It came with potato strata and broccoli. I had multiple problems with this dish. The broccoli was perfect. The potatoes were huge probably 2 servings but decent. You could only see the outline of the red wine sauce under a mountain of blue cheese sauce which was overpowering. My steak was about 3/4” thick and my husband’s was about 2” thick or more. We both ordered medium rare and he got that. I have never seen a $65 steak smothered before. It’s something they do at Applebee’s to cover it up. I asked the waitress for a tiny bit of red wine sauce to take home so I could clean up the steak and try to eat it with the Demi glace. There was a surcharge for that. Also did not expect to pay $65 for a 7 oz filet. Make sure you ask the price for special dinner. We didn’t stay for dessert. I don’t have a problem paying $140 per person but try to standardize the protein and would have been able to enjoy if the chef put the sauces separate. Thank you 🙏”
