“AMA Pizza is such a gem tucked away near the hills of Hillsborough, and on a Friday night, was packed with people! This was our first time visiting and we were impressed by the outer decor and seating, they also had a huge inflatable screen playing the World Cup match. The inside was also quite busy and loud, and we were seated within 5 minutes of arriving for our reservation (you’ll need one)! The bread they gave was delicious especially with the olive oil, and our entrees also came out super quickly! The short rib pasta was absolutely amazing, and I’m not usually a pasta person! It’s the perfect portion size if you’re hungry, the meat is very tender and the sauce is subtle yet very delicious. We celebrated a joint birthday and they came out singing which was fun: it was probably the best tiramisu I’ve had outside of Italy, super juicy with the right amount of coffee flavor. I’m going to recommend this to others in the area!”

“I went to a baby shower and sat in the party room which was very drafty. it was a very cold day but management should address the outside air coming in, it can easily be fixed. As far as the food it was delicious. We had these awesome rice balls and a salad to start and then 3 types of pizza, margarita, plain cheese, and mushroom sausage. All were fresh and hot and plenty was served. They also offered a scoop of ice cream with the cake which was very thoughtful and complimented the cake well. The cappuccino was also very good. The restaurant side was packed with people and it was a fun and bustling atmosphere. The servers were friendly and worked very hard between the restaurant and the party room. I don't live in the area but if I did this would be a good option that I would frequent when in the mood for a fresh and hot pizza.”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I TOTALLY would! This was the 1st time my husband and I visited AMA and we are hooked! We will definitely be back!!! AMAZING food, staff, and the atmosphere was very homie and relaxing! Ryan our waiter and all the workers were so prompt and efficient! We will definitely be back! AMA may just be our favorite dine in place! It is totally worth the drive and we really felt like family when we were there!”

“I’ve passed by this Italian restaurant many times, and today I finally decided to stop in and give it a try — so glad I did! The food was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. The Christmas atmosphere was especially lovely, and I can easily imagine this being a great spot to visit and take photos in any season. Their heated patio area with the covered roof is perfect for photos, gatherings, and toasting with friends. A great place for a relaxed meal and a cozy, festive experience. Will definitely be coming back!”
