Dear Maud is a Cocktail Bar restaurant in the Hoboken neighborhood of Hoboken.
“I had such a great experience here! The atmosphere is amazing — cozy, fun, and perfect for spending time with friends. The drinks were really good, and the overall vibe made us want to stay for hours. It’s the kind of place that works whether you’re going out with a group or just want to come alone, sit at the bar, enjoy a cocktail, and grab something to eat. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Hoboken so far”
“This is a week delayed but I wanted to make sure I left a good review!! I normally come here for happy hour or a quick drink with friends. For this evening, I was having dinner with my sister in laws (so 3 people). They picked this place based on vibes and knowing there was a DJ. Last minute, the rest of our family decided to join. Devon (hostess) was able to accommodate 7!! People for dinner during a prime Friday night. We only had the table for 90 minutes, but they didn’t rush us. The food and drinks were exceptional. The service provided by Edith (I think was her name) was 11/10. She really took care of us the whole night. Even brought 2 birthday cakes for us!! At the end, she was able to find us a table so we could stay for the DJ which she 100% didn’t have to. Thank you thank you thank you ladies (and cooks and bartenders) for showing my suburban family how amazing Hoboken nights can be!!”
“Very nice staff and bartender knows how to make a good drink! Receipt said server name was Aaron so if he’s your server, you’re in good hands. I had a good drive and two pink clovers. Both amazing!!! Pink clover is in the picture. I ordered some bao buns to go. They were pretty good but smaller than I expected. There was only one piece of shrimp in the shrimp bao bun but it was okay considering I got the happy hour deal for them. Short rib was the more hefty one in terms of filling I’d say. I was too tipsy so I forgot to take a picture of the buns.”
“Great drinks and an even better menu. Everything I had was solid and the spot itself has a really good vibe going for it. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t been. Only thing I noticed this time was the crowd felt a little ruder than usual. Nothing that ruined the experience but it was noticeable. Could just be an off night. Would still recommend it. The drinks and food alone make it worth a visit.”
“The food was extremely small portioned and overly seasoned. The selections were odd considering the Irish heritage and background of “Dear Maud”. The servers and staff were all extremely kind. But would I return? Nah. 6 tiny overcooked shrimp or 10’tiny over cooked chicken bites for a 20$ dish. Or the overly seasoned fries. Could get the same quanlity with better portions at an in and out for less money. Def aiming toward the younger hip crowd of Hoboken but falls shorts of the quality per price when so many amazing Irish and American fusion restaurants in the area.”
