“This place is always a great option for dinner. The rolls are so good while you wait for your food, the egg rolls for my appetizer are always hot and fresh and my steak is always cooked perfectly.”
“My wife & I sat at the bar and ordered dinner for the 1st time... while our teenagers shopped around HTC on Sunday evening. I didn't remember to take any pictures until we were packing a To Go box. Everything was amazing... we ordered the 8oz Filet & 10oz Ribeye. The steaks were super tender... they had melted butter on top, which mixed with the steak juice when sliced. I finished my potato soup, and we loved the southwestern egg rolls !!!”
“The food was good for the most part. We started with the mushrooms which were very flavorful. Hubby had a steak burger with coleslaw that he enjoyed and I ordered the 10 oz ribeye that was a bit overcooked and dry with two sides of green beans. Overall, the food was tasty. The server was meh. Not friendly whatsoever. Gave us the vibe that she didn't want to be bothered with us. At first I thought it was me until I saw her interact with one of her regulars who sat next to us later on at the bar and she was so much more nice, warm, smiley and welcoming to him. We felt very unwelcomed by her. We'll probably not visit again due to the service. We finished our food, paid and left.”
“Our family has enjoyed this establishment for a couple of years — our kids love the burgers and steak, so we visit a few times a year. Unfortunately, our most recent visit on Sunday was very disappointing. We ordered the white fish and it came out shredded. We chuckled and brought it to our waitress's attention, and she acknowledged the issue and conveyed the subpar food quality to her manager — who happened to be standing right in front of me. Rather than addressing me directly, the manager(I will not mention her name) spoke only to the waitress, telling her what to say in response. The waitress then turned and told me exactly what the manager had said: that their iron griddle/grill had been having issues for a few days and that making a new one wouldn't solve the problem. Blaming the griddle while completely ignoring my presence was a real downer. The waitress offered a free appetizer card for next time, which we thanked her for but handed back. A moment later she returned with an $8 discount that I couldn't return. I added that and a little more to her tip to make sure she didn't feel like she had done anything wrong — she handled the situation with grace. We stayed quiet, finished our food, and thanked our waitress. But I really did not like how the manager handled the situation at all — no apology or even acknowledgment, while speaking about me right in front of me. Pretty disappointed. My boys enjoyed their food as usual, but it's not a good feeling spending $40 per person and being treated that way. I hope our next visit will be different and that the establishment will have a new griddle/grill, a better cooked and presented fish and a better trained manager.”
“Outlaw Burger and Brews seems to have fallen short in several key areas during your visit, leading to a disappointing overall experience. Here's a breakdown of the review based on your 2-star rating: Atmosphere Ambiance: The setting may be casual and inviting, but the decor and vibe can only make up for so much if the food fails to impress. Food Quality Bland Flavors: The primary complaint revolves around the food lacking seasoning and taste. For a steak house/burger joint, one would expect robust flavors, but it seems the dishes fell flat. My Steak Issues: Overcooked Steak: Ordering a steak should be a treat, but if it arrives burnt, it can ruin the entire meal. A well-cooked steak is juicy and tender, not dry and charred. Husbands steak: Undercooked Steak: Conversely, if another steak is undercooked, it raises concerns about kitchen consistency and food safety. A properly cooked steak should meet specific temperature guidelines to ensure it’s safe to eat. Service Staff Interaction: While not explicitly mentioned, the service experience can significantly impact a dining outing. If the staff didn’t address the food issues satisfactorily, it would further detract from the overall experience. Overall I would not give this place another chance and spend $80 to be able to eat some tater-tots and baked potato. 👎🏼 👎🏼”
