“Dinner earlier this week at Lakeland’s Michelin Star Recommended Nineteen61! Started with Chips, Avocado Mousse & Tomatillo Salsa. I ordered the Pollo Saltado which I’ve had before and my husband ordered the Delmonico which came with a Nineteen61 salad and side of potatoes. Food & service was great as always! We’ve been here before and will be back again!”

Our server took excellent care of us. Free parking on the weekends in the City of Lakeland - Main Street Parking Garage just one block down the street.”

“Had such an amazing anniversary brunch at Nineteen61! The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was incredible, and the staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so welcoming, attentive, and helped make the experience feel really special for my girl and me. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. “We went to Nineteen61 for brunch on Sunday. We enjoyed bottomless mimosas and when we asked for our juices on the side, it was no problem. Service was incredible. Meadow our server was so attentive and very sweet. I ordered the quiche and it came with their delicious salad as a side. I also ordered the potatoes to go with it. It was PERFECT! My daughter ordered Pan con Bistec with a side of rice and beans. She loved it. Hubby ordered Vaca Frita, oh my!!! He said it was so delicious and flavorful. If you have never been, you must go! Chef Marco and his team know how to do it! We made a reservation, which I recommend you do. This place can get busy!”

“Amazing experience from start to finish! We came for brunch and everything was simply outstanding. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the music created the perfect vibe to relax and enjoy. Since it was our first time visiting, they kindly welcomed us with a complimentary glass of champagne each, which made the experience feel even more special. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish exceeded our expectations. We started with the ceviche, which was fresh and perfectly balanced. For drinks, the pisco sour was incredibly good — one of the best we’ve had. As main dishes, we ordered the vaca frita and the Cuban sandwich, both full of flavor and cooked to perfection. To finish, we had the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending. A special thank you to our server, Sian, who was very attentive and made our visit even more enjoyable with his great service and friendly attitude. This is officially my favorite restaurant in the area. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back!”
