Coucou West Hollywood is the highly anticipated follow-up to Coucou Venice. The 75-seat, indoor-outdoor restaurant is tucked away on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Nemo Street and offers a welcome respite from the outside world where guests can expect perfectly prepared martinis with freshly shucked oysters at a handsome marble-topped bar and wood-fired French favorites on a sun-dappled, star jasmine-lined patio.
“A cozy French bistro that’s perfect for dinner. The food was really tasty, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. We had a great time here.”
“Great place to pick if you’re craving French! Great atsmosphere, seating and service. All their dishes were really good. They have valet right next door which is convenient. Would recommend!”
“Oooohie this is a new local gem. Great service by Ismael. Went here on a Friday night and had the farmers cheese (skip, but gorgeous), steak tartare (yes), prawn cocktail (different, recommend), as well as the steak frites and artichoke hearts (loved both). We ended with the soft serve (a must). Obsessed with the atmosphere and vibe. Highly recommend for date night!”
“Highly recommend having dinner at Cou Cou. Ismael provided great service (although all the staff were friendly and helpful, too). The food is wonderful (I highly recommend the mussels if you are into that sort of thing). The atmosphere is relaxed, but lovely, and the lack of pretense was a bonus. Despite the fact the the courtyard is right on Santa Monica Blvd, it feels like you have you are dining in a small cafe far from the bustle of a big city. What a nice escape!”
“Wonderful spot to meet friends, grab a drink and enjoy some wonderful food. Everything here works. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not overly so. The food is prepared brilliantly. Flavors are exceptional. We ordered a little of everything. The Farmer's Cheese had great texture with the toast. The ceviche was different in that it was creamy, delicate and felt hearty at the same time. Lobster spaghetti had a great balance of perfectly cooked pasta with chunks of lobster meat. Gnocchi is scrumptious! And don't forget dessert. The vanilla sundae was the cherry on top of a fabulous evening.”
