Fig Tree is a neighborhood classic, family-owned and serving our community since 1978. Today, it has been reimagined with a feel and flavor driven by our Latin roots and our love for the Pacific coastline. Inspired by our lives in South America, where the farms often nuzzle up against the sea, and by our home, Venice, we've peeled back the rind and recreated Fig Tree. Our aim is to provide you with an elegant California Latin experience; unique delicious food, highly attentive service, the feeling of a romantic vacation. Energized by an abundance of seasonal market ingredients, our food and cocktail menus change often. We invite you to sit by the sand, enjoy the little world we’ve created here, and maybe meet a new friend to journey on this beautiful life with.
“Mary assisted us with seating and made us feel welcome with a friendly smile and by answering all of our questions. Customer service makes such an impact and Mary went above and beyond accommodating us. We had Pasta del Mar, Spring Pea and Citrus salad ..Toasted Coconut Matcha Latte, and rosemary biscotti. It was all so delicious . Outdoor view is so beautiful as well.”
“Fig tree was such a treat. Parking was easy, a stroll along the beach set the mood… and then came a warm welcome from the most vibey hipster LA waitress I could imagine. Effortlessly cool, casual like an old friend. Then a different waiter with equally cool energy took our order. Food was amazing. Coffee was perfect. And a street performer sat and sang Nat King Cole songs backed by the ocean. Perfect spot for a perfect morning.”
“Chance md upon the restaurant while walking along the Venice Beach Boardwalk. I had wandered in off the street because of their sandwich board’s advertising an “Happy Hour!” menu but as I’d arrived after 6:20 pm I missed the 3-5 pm happy hour entirely. No worries. The uniqueness of their boardwalk & beachfront adjacent property makes it very convenient to accommodate bringing guests of all ages to the eclectic yet homy location. Evan the bartender and Mitchell the manager were extremely helpful and informative, Evan even went above and beyond to charge my phone which died exactly at the moment I had walked outside to snap a photo of the sunset. Misery lives company and we commiserated for at least 20 minutes about the lost chance of our photo… Now… the food and the drinks! OMG!?!?! To say that the are made with love is an understatement! The meals are checked and rechecked for accuracy in their orders… there is a salsa that is SO GOOD and it’s like none I’ve ever tasted before! Slightly pumpkin spice, a hint of cinnamon… my taste buds were in heaven!”
“My wife and I had our baby shower here for 50 people and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious (the banana coconut pancakes and salmon ceviche were crowd favorites), the beachfront views were beautiful, and we even got to enjoy some lovely live music from the boardwalk. The outdoor patio is super nice and the decour and florals were beautiful. I'd recommend this venue to anyone - we all had a blast. Matias, Isabella, and Bryson were all awesome to work with as well!”
“One of the best breakfast experiences I have ever had! The food was delicious and very unique. We loved the grapefruit juice as well as the green drink and for main dishes the coconut plantain pancakes are a must! I thought the Chilaquiles were some of the best I’ve had in the breakfast burrito was great as well!”
