“I took myself out for a beachside lunch and ended up finding such a gem. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. I dove into the ceviche and wonton shrimp tacos, which were absolutely fantastic. Honestly, I could’ve happily indulged in multiple courses. The ambiance was beautiful, and their Nomalizo was the perfect touch. Definitely a beautiful atmosphere for friends, dates, and a solo lunch.”

“The food was incredible! My taste buds were singing! We got the octopus and tandoori oyster mushrooms and both were perfection! I used to love this spot when it was Bank of Venice, and I always worry about these rebrands and if they'll be good. This meal put all that worry to rest! This is now a new local favorite! Also, the whole wine list is natural and organic. They have some great bottles and pours by the glass. The staff is friendly and sharp. The music was fun - we were there for Saturday brunch and they had chill house/funk/disco vibes going. We dug it! Overall, it's fantastic and I can't wait to go back!”

“I’ve never been to Great White - this restaurants’ bigger sister to compare but I loved my time at Gran Blanco. We got here around 11am for brunch and it wasn’t too busy at all for a Sunday. The only difficult thing is finding cheap parking nearby. The service was very friendly and everything they recommended that we ordered was delicious. The cocktails are also very tasty! Just have to warn that the portions are on the smaller side so if you’re hungry I wouldn’t go for the fish tacos or ceviche. The French toast was delicious and very rich. I definitely would recommend to share this as a dessert with a friend. All in all perfect experience at a very pretty and vibey spot in Venice Beach.”

“We came here for dinner. When we arrived, they seated us at a very, very low table (like to our knees) right next to the crowd at the bar. They didn’t have any other tables to switch to, and because of the noise and the fact that we wanted to eat real food, we considered leaving. We decided to stick it out and thankfully the food made up for it!!! We ordered the eggplant, the potatoes, the buffalo cauliflower, the olives, and the octopus. I would highly recommend ALL of them, except maybe the octopus. It was good and I liked the combination of flavors, but it was more large meaty chunks of octopus when I typically prefer more thin and crispy. Overall, the food was fantastic.”

“Ambiance was nice, but food and service was really underwhelming. Came early and was seated next to a large group that seemed to be drunk at 5 pm and asked the hostess to be moved (the restaurant was still 90% empty) which was met with a lot of hostility over the request. Pretty unwelcoming response and once we placed orders for food service was really slow”
