“Awesome place to have a get together. Atmosphere professionalism can't say enough about this location. 3rd generation family owned. Our family is from the south and we're always looking for something authentically Southern and this Creole restaurant meets that expectation!”
“This was a wonderful surprise visiting H&B's updated/upgraded location. I remember visiting years ago and knew how special this place was. To see it has evolved and taken on a more modern feel without letting it effect the quality of their food and seemingly improved their service was so refreshing. Looking forward to my next visit. Great Job!!! 👍🏾”
“This restaurant is incredible. Five of us went there to try out the food during spring break and having seen them featured on Diners Drivins and Dives we had high expectations. They knocked it out of the park. The Gumbo was excellent and then jumbo shrimp came which was amazing. We ordered 10 dishes just so we could try various foods and all of it was awesome. We left the restaurant stuffed and extremely impressed with the service from our hostess and the talent of the chefs.”
“The oysters were delicious 😋 the snapper was just ok the shrimp was a little salty the catfish was good the clam chowder was a bit too thick you could eat it with a fork. My daughter loved the pork chops.. beignets sucked very dry no flavor not authentic at all.”
“First make a reservation. We sat down at our table atmosphere and history on walls nice and homey. Our waiter you can tell was very busy we were forgotten many times and kept forgetting things. Crab cakes were hard to cut into followed by the creole salmon the salmon was good but the sauce tasted like marinara sauce. The fried chicken wings were good but the Mac and cheese was mid then the red beans and rice good but make sure you ask for vegetarian if you don’t want beef sausage in them. Was very excited to eat here but was very disappointed with service and food.”
