“My brother came into town from Singapore and really wanted to try some great food, so we decided on Moohan. Getting a weekend spot is tough—he originally tried to book for last Saturday or Sunday but they were completely full. We finally locked in a Friday reservation for 6:30 PM, and it was absolutely worth the wait! Parking was surprisingly easy and stress-free—only $3 with the restaurant validation. Once inside, the experience was great from start to finish. It’s an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) spot with a 100-minute limit, though we were happily full and finished in about 70 minutes. They offer an "Essential" and a "Premium" tier. Because we had the kids with us, we opted for the Essential package, figuring premium wouldn't be worth it for them. Honestly, the Essential tier exceeded expectations. The meat quality is excellent. The standouts for us were definitely the pork jowl, beef brisket, and pork belly. The marinated meats were tasty too, just a tiny bit on the saltier side. Our server was incredibly nice. He took the time to explain how to order using the tabletop tablet and pointed us toward the massive buffet side-dish bar to grab appetizers while waiting for our meat orders to arrive. The selection at the buffet is huge—everything from traditional Korean banchan to tempura, fried rice, and chap chae. My younger son is usually a very picky eater, but last night he completely devoured the steamed egg, fried rice, pork belly, brisket, and melted cheese. When a picky kid eats that much, you know the food is good! Moohan is officially our new go-to spot for AYCE KBBQ. Highly recommend!”
“Moohan Korean BBQ offers a wide range of fresh meats and vegetables. Upon arrival, you may select two items from the tablet. The introductory package is the most affordable option at $39.99 and the premium package is available for $59.99. The premium package offers more diverse choices in meat. You select the package you prefer on the tablet and place your order accordingly. You have the option to place orders for up to 10 items at a time. This prevents you from ordering items within a certain time frame. The food is delivered promptly. They offer self-service with both hot and cold options if you wish to consume more food quickly. You are welcome to order drinks. The bar offers cocktails, beers, and sodas on the tablet. The service was impeccable, we were frequently assisted in preparing and cutting the meat for us. The grill was constantly updated, and we were always assured of receiving our orders promptly. The marinated meat was satisfactory, but the non-marinated meat was exceptional. The food was excellent, and we intend to return for the same experience again. Please be aware that a thorough shower is essential, and it's imperative to have a hair wash. The aroma of food and smoke could potentially affect your clothing..”
“🛸 Xorgbathian Culinary Dispatch: MOOHAN Korean BBQ, Koreatown (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) Greetings, Earthlings! I, Zorlax the Flavor Seeker from the planet Xorgbath, recently landed in Koreatown to conduct a high-priority taste mission at MOOHAN Korean BBQ. My tentacles are still tingling with delight. First impressions: The atmosphere here is party-friendly, perfect for gathering your human pod-squad or intergalactic delegation. The tables are equipped with grills that let you sizzle your own feast—a form of self-service ritual I find both thrilling and efficient. The food? Sublime. The meats arrive fresh and marinated to perfection, and as they kissed the grill, my sensory antennae registered a 9.8 on the Galactic Flavor Scale. Each bite was a hyperdrive jump into umami bliss. Side dishes (what you call banchan) appeared in a dazzling array—perfect for sampling, swapping, and pretending you are an omnivorous space emperor. The service is a marvel of Earth technology. Ordering through an iPad felt like communicating with a friendly starship AI. Within moments, dishes emerged at light speed, proving that the staff here operate on near-interstellar efficiency. Verdict: 5 glowing stars from this Xorgbathian explorer. Whether you’re a human celebrating a birthday or a visitor from the Andromeda cluster craving sizzling meats, MOOHAN Korean BBQ is a prime destination for joyous feasting.”
“I pulled up to Moohan KBBQ on a Tuesday with no reservation and was honestly surprised we only waited about 5 minutes before getting seated. Great start already. Our server was super helpful, took the time to explain the menu and how everything works, which made the experience smooth. We decided to go with the more premium option, and it was 100% worth it. No regrets at all. We also grabbed a beer tower, which just made the whole vibe even better. The meat selection was fire, great variety and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Sides kept coming out quickly as we finished them, and the service overall was on point. Meat came out fast, grill changes happened right away, and we never felt like we were waiting on anything. Overall, an amazing experience. Great food, great service, and a really smooth all-you-can-eat flow. I’ll definitely be back and recommending this spot to all my friends.”
“A pretty good AYCE KBBQ option in LA. We were hoping for better than average quality meats and a good buffet of cold and hot options. Moohan came through on both fronts but did not excel. While it’s pricier than most KBBQ we frequent, we didn’t feel the higher price point was justified in terms of flavor and quality. Sure, the buffet offers a great variety of items from basic sushi to a number of fresh veg/salads, noodles, fried appetizers and cooked meats, but none stood out as being really delicious, only average quality. Kimchi is good and they provide saamjang sauce at the table. PROS: 1) self-serve meats to grill, so you don’t have to wait for the server to bring you your order of brisket, pork belly, what have you. The (non-premium) raw meats are part of the buffet and super handy. 2) Service comes frequently to switch out your grill when it gets burnt or gunky, provide water, and bring items that you order on the electronic menu pad. 3) Buffet is plentiful as mentioned already. 4) Parking is only $2 in the equitable lot under the building, and the charge is added to your bill at the end. Super convenient. 5) Reservation can be made on their website, resulting in almost no wait time-a huge plus. CONS: 1) Buffet food quality is average. 2) Price is higher than average. We had the non-premium meats option totaling about $55 pp with tax and tip (no beverages). 3) They play loud, annoying music overhead.”
