A day-time café and natural wine bar inspired by the flavors of Mexico City, Madrid and Japan. Elevated everyday food and aperitivo.
“Lovedddd the pasta and wine. The hostess Lane was so kind and checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were taken care of!! Started at the bar and she made a table for us outside—awesome vibes and atmosphere :) would recommend”
“Harmony was the best manager ever. Always knew what we wanted, she was on top of our service all the time. Will come back to her for any wine recommendations any time! She was lovely and a pleasure to be with.”
“First of all, the food was incredible. I genuinely considered hugging the chef. But then Daniela arrived at our table and completely stole the show. Her service was so good I’m convinced she’s operating with access to classified government technology. She somehow appeared exactly when we needed something and vanished before we could ask for anything else. Water glasses never went empty. Empty plates disappeared like they were entering another dimension. And than there's Jos, the owner. The man doesn’t run Seco, he conducts it like an orchestra. He makes the place feel like it's a family gathering. Overall amazing experience, would definitely recommend.”
“Went to Seco when visiting LA on vacation from Canada. Excellent selection of natural and funky wines, and food was amazing. We didn’t have a reservation on a Friday night and the host went out of her way to find us a spot at the bar. Our bartender, Alexis, was excellent and made our experience 10/10. Would highly recommend when visiting LA/Silverlake if looking for an approachable wine bar with great casual atmosphere and excellent food.”
“Me and my girlfriend tried this place out yesterday for the first time. Wine was good, service was 5/10, not so much friendly staff. Kinda get straight to the point and order staff. A worker that has short blonde hair with a little Star Wars rat tail that was helping us at first had the audacity to hit on my girlfriend while she was waiting for the restroom. After that he stopped helping us and another guy started coming to our table instead. I paid the bill with the other worker who was wearing glasses that took over. I didn't leave a tip due to the disrespect of the staff member hitting on my girlfriend while 1 am there. Just very disrespectful. Train your staff better to have respect and not act stuck up because those were some vibes I was getting. When I paid the bill and didn't leave a tip, the worker was looking and made like an upset sigh when i selected "no tip" he got pissed and just walked away, mouthed something to the hostess then smoked a little cigarette. Your staff will get a tip if they don't disrespect your customers. It's that simple.”
