Ceviche Project is a Los Angeles neighborhood ceviche bar in Silverlake that opened in April of 2019 where cevicheros prepare bespoke ceviches, tostadas, and all manner of raw bar specialties, made-to-order and enjoyed alongside artisanal Mexican beer, a curated list of natural wine, sake cocktails. and the best michelada in town. “It’s an indie charmer, urbane and light enough for an hour or two of sparkling diversion.” - Bill Addison, Los Angeles Times Dine inside our intimate, 28-seat ceviche bar or al fresco against the backdrop of our own vintage Cumbia and Calypso house soundtrack. We welcome you to join us Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. PT, or until we sell out of seafood, whichever comes first! ¡Bienvenidos y Salud!
“Awesome spot, amazing chef who preps/serves/does it all. Highly recommend the callo de hacha and any tostada.”
“We book this restaurant through Resy because I wanted to use Amex rewards. I love the name of the restaurant! I didn’t know that they ONLY SERVE CEVICHE!! Seafood was great (little too salty) but I was hungry to the end because they don’t have main dishes. I would say this place is good for grabbing drinks with ceviche, not for dinner. Only one guy was serving everything. Making ceviche, drinks and cleaning. So it takes time to get food. Parking is in the back but it’s hard to find it.”
“Excellent fresh ceviche. Intimate dining room with great tunes. You can tell the chef/owner is really passionate. The tostadas and ceviche were real standouts, will absolutely go again.”
“Absolutely delightful! Each bite was a new experience, surpassing the last in flavor and creativity. We truly appreciated the artistry behind the dishes, which were not only delicious but beautifully presented. Even now, I'm reminiscing about those flavors—my mouth is watering just thinking about them! The freshness of the ingredients really shone through in the dishes!”
“The sign on the glass door reads “Reservation Only.” But I walked in in case there were any cancellations that night. I opened the door, the one guy with the mullet hair and a jacket that had a tiny France flag on the lapel, looked me up and down and didn’t say hello when I greeted him. He was at the register at the other end of this very small restaurant… but there’s no way he didn’t hear me. He just didn’t like my outfit. I’d been out for a walk and had on sneakers and T-shirt/cycling shorts. I patiently waited for him to acknowledge me… after all the restaurant has 4.7 out of 5 stars. He gave me the once over AGAIN as he MOVED toward a table and addressed a person whose card wasn’t working. There were only two tables with people. The other 3? Tables we’re empty and so was the bar. Eventually the mulleted man acknowledged me and asked me what I wanted … he AGAIN looked me up and down. I’m going to be real here… YOU’re IN LOS FELIZ/ECHO PARK not FRANCE, not the PRICIEST OR FANCIEST part of LA. Your restaurant is tiny, tiny, and you have the ego of someone trying to prove something… that you have value. And CEVICHE PROJECT, YOU DO HAVE VALUE but that doesn’t mean to get to look down on potential customers. What a terrible look for a neighborhood joint. This kind of attitude is how you lose customers. I went to MI CORAZON instead. No one looked down on me or gave me the once over. No attitude. Just welcoming.”
