“This was a good spot for both cocktail drinks and Chinese food. While it might be on the pricey side this was a good endeavor to the Asian style food with a good cocktail list and variety. The chicken wings were very tender and the green chopped salad and cucumber salad was extremely refreshing. The pork ribs were a little dry but the fries were excellent. The fries were also good along with the mantaiko spaghetti and the chicken liver paté was great. Our host was super attentive and very funny and great with suggestions. The decor and atmosphere was like a speakeasy vibe with Chinese food which I appreciate.”
“Went for Sunday brunch here and it was pretty slow around 3pm. The atmosphere was dark, charming and comfortable. The menu is not your typical brunch menu. I ordered the beef randang, pork dumplings and cucumber salad and everything was delicious especially the beef randang! I also had a non alcoholic lime cucumber drink which was delightful. Our server was nice, fun and very attentive. Can't wait to go back and try the dinner menu. I don't drink but they have a beautiful bar for those of you that do as well as a nice patio put back. Highly recommend going here.”
“The mentaiko spaghetti was delicious. The wings were juicy and crispy. The aioli sauce was amazing. The chef(s) really put there all in the dish because all the food I had was well balanced and cooked to perfection. It wasn't busy or anything so no clue why the service was terrible. It did get better for others once more people for seated. Our beers would be empty for about 10 mins before we had to flag make eye contact with our server to flag them down. My friend ordered a beer, the server came back about 5 minutes later empty handed. I ordered myself a beer and reordered my friend's beer. We wanted cocktails and waited but couldn't find our server. I got up to find them to order some drinks. I was about to directly order with the bartender but they saw me first and asked if I wanted drinks. I ordered them and more water with the bartender. We get our drinks. No water. Figured the server had to catch up on stuff. It wasn't communicated and our request fell through and we asked again. I would go again because the food alone was worth it. I really want to try the Shanghai Triple Onion noodles.....and more spaghetti. Drinks: a good mix of beers on tap. Something for everyone. Beer was nice and cold and poured well Dqui boy....a tart little thing and incredibly delicious. The NOLA Baby cocktail with black raspberry was good. The menu did say spirit forward so do not expect to taste much of the black raspberry. Still a solid cocktail.”
“Super cute spot with tasty food and a karaoke bar upstairs. The inside is a lot nicer which surprised me cause of the neighborhood but definitely enjoyed it. The mentaiko pasta was delicious along with the salmon crispy rice. The curry crispy rice was very spicy.”
“Really great bartenders and plenty of open space, which we appreciated. One area for improvement would be clearer signage around the bar walkway. On New Year’s, a staff member let us know we were in a walkway while we were on the dance floor. We moved right away, but the interaction felt more scolding than necessary. A more polite approach, and better signage, would help make moments like that smoother for guests. Especially considering it was our first time at this venue.”
