“We celebrated Father’s Day and our 29th Anniversary. Our son who is home from North Carolina joined us. Our server Kiara was great so sweet and very attentive!”
“Cozy knit whole hearted Italian restaurant that you dont have to travel into the city to enjoy. They have a patio and dinning room area with a full bar service. I love that they offer two specials on the weekdays- wine down Wednesdays and girls dinner Thursday! In my opinion, Wine down Wednesday is a steal! You get a bottle of choice, red or white wine for your table. A choice of any appetizer, any entree and dessert off thier menu!! No limited options which makes this deal fabulous to keep coming back to try new dishes without having limited options (MP food is extra). Crab cakes were tender and full of flavor, The chefs Haddock was vibrant with the lemon sauce, perfectly cooked Haddock and veggies. The Florentine with spinach and roasted red pepper and alfredo was perfectly cooked. Every dish was outstanding, pasta was made and cooked to perfection. I can't wait to go back and try some more. Personally, dessert was OK but the main star are the entrées!! Truthfully, I could have been a happy girl with thier loaf of foccia bread amd a tub of thier olive oil blend dip!!!”
“We went to Scopa with two other couples and honestly didn’t expect it to be as great as it was. We had a 7:30 reservation on a Friday night, and even though the place was completely packed, our table was ready right away (the only one open), and we were seated immediately. From the moment we sat down, the staff was super friendly and attentive. They brought out fresh complimentary bread right away, which was a great start. The drinks were excellent, the mistletoe margarita ended up being a favorite across the table. Food wise, everything was a hit. One person ordered the salmon and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. Another got the seafood risotto, which looked amazing and apparently tasted even better. My wife ordered the veal piccata and loved it. I ordered the di mare, it didn’t come out as spicy as I usually like at first, but I mentioned it to our server and it was taken care of immediately. It came back perfectly spiced and exactly how I wanted it. Everyone left happy and very full, the portions are definitely generous. Overall, it was a really great experience. The only small thing to note is that it does get a little loud, but it was a busy Friday night, so that’s totally expected. Highly recommend Scopa. Can’t wait to come back in the warmer months and sit outside on the patio.”
“Scopa is such a great little spot on the Saugus / Lynn line. I love the hallway when you walk in. Old school Italian pictures and a cozy feel. When you sit down you’re immediately given this warm focaccia. The focaccia is paired with this amazing dipping oil. The service was great, the entire staff was accommodating and so friendly and nice. For the food, it’s fantastic. I really can’t stress it enough. Probably the best meal I’ve had in the last couple of years on the North Shore. I had the Miguel with the homemade fusilli. My friend had the chicken parm with linguini. Both were delicious. My other friend had the orecchiette with sausage and honestly that was one of the best dishes I’ve tried in a while. The night was topped off with limoncello shots. GREAT PLACE. We will be back a lot!”
“Scopa in Lynn is a gem! We had to wait a bit on a busy Friday night, but they offered us a cup of wine while we waited. The outdoor seating by the water is perfect, and the food was delicious. Service was excellent. attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!”
