The high tea treats were very original and tasty, home made by the owner who came out to talk with us and share information about the teas and goodies she prepared for us. “My husband surprised me with afternoon tea at the Chic Teacup while we were in town for a pastor’s conference. It was a great spot to sit and enjoy some delectable tea sandwiches, savory treats along with a variety of fresh scones, tea cakes, tarts. Gail was a great host, who made our experience wonderful. She has an abundance of teas to select from and was gracious to let my husband and I sample several teas. My favorite was the Indigo Punch, but I’m partial to butterfly pea tea. Gail mentioned that an unexpected favorite among her patrons is an almond tea. A few minutes later, she brought us a pot of almond teas so we could expand our palettes and we were pleasantly surprised with it🙂 We look forward to visiting the Chic Teacup on our next trip down this way.”

I usually can't finish an afternoon tea meal, but it was the perfect amount of food for my friend and I. The ability to have as many teas as our bellies could hold was great!
