“Our server explained the types of teas and was prompt with the service. First the tea is brought and we were told to allow a few minutes for it to steep. We were allowed to savour the teas for a bit before the savoury and sweet treats were brought on a three tiered service. From the bottom tier are the savoury sandwiches. We had the savoury sandwiches with sips of tea and moved on to the scones on the second tier (middle). There were two varieties of scones a savoury cheddar and sweet raisin to be had with Devonshire cream and strawberry preserves. The scones were warm and went well with the cream and preserves. By the time we got to the top tier of sweet items we were forcing ourselves to get it down. We didn't much like the cucumber sandwiches. Overall it was a nice afternoon tea at Abkhazi tea house.”
