Since 1978, we have been situated prominently at the corner of Ponce De Leon and Malaga. We provide a classic steakhouse experience from our famous Caesar Salad to our Baked Alaska which is flambeed table-side.
“We had great experience at Christy’s restaurant, from warm welcoming GM Nikola to our servers who was above beyond , my friend tried the Escargot, served with white wine and garlic in a rich herb butter. Great idea and portion are sharable - Christy’s Famous Caesar Salad, the romaine hearts were crisp and fresh, its felt classic but elevated. For the main course, we had the Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb. This was the highlight of the meal—perfectly cooked,as we asked for medium rare , juicy, and aromatic with a flavorful crust. The mushroom and asparagus ragout added earthiness, while the sherry honey glaze gave a subtle sweetness, the Greek yogurt mint sauce tied everything together and added a refreshing contrast😋 To finish the dinner we got Baked Alaska, It was a great showpiece dessert—Neapolitan ice cream on pound cake, covered in meringue and flambeed tableside. Beyond the presentation, the combination of warm and cold textures made it both fun and delicious.Overall, the experience felt well curated from start to finish, with thoughtful presentation and balanced flavors across every course.will be back again !!!❤️”
“The Caesar salad is absolutely delicious, safe to say the best in town. Served on a heaping plate, served for two. Every corner of the salad is covered in dressing. We ordered the Prime Rib, and all I can say is wow. Extremely juicy and savory. Christy’s Gruyère potatoes au gratin was an incredible addition to our meal. Thank You Christy’s !!”
“We have been visiting this restaurant for over 25 years and have mostly enjoyed our experiences. However, last Friday night was disappointing. To start the hostess forced us to sit in the bar area on a high top table since we brought 1 extra guest. Then the service was slow and inconsistent with used plates piled up on the tiny table before being cleared. The area was loud , bright and crowded with people constantly walking back and forth by our table. The main meals were OK, we ordered the prime rib which was average but a bit tough considering the price. However, the sides were terrible, (at $16.00 each) we ordered the Mac and cheese and asparagus. The Mac and cheese was cold floating on milk separated from the cheese , tasted terrible! And the asparagus were also cold and just 5 small pieces with some white cream drizzle on top, also totally inedible. We had a terrible experience from start to finish and spent $590.00 for the pleasure. Needless to say we will not return any time soon! I have had much better experiences at casual steakhouses for 1/3 the price.”
“This was my first and only visit to Christy’s. My $22 glass of Sancerre wine was not cold but my loaded baked potato was. The service was not only slow it was inept. It took 15 minutes to receive our drinks. We ordered anchovies on the side for the Caesar and after asking twice they arrived when we were done. We ordered the special chateaubriand since they were out of prime rib at 7:30, and it was also lukewarm even though it was flambéed table side. The accompanying sides were not hot either. We had to ask twice for another round also When the waiter was packing up the leftovers he piled the dirty dishes in front of my husband rather than removing them. All of this for $600 for 4!”
“I’ve been coming to Christy’s Restaurant for over 25 years. This visit ended that relationship. Strike one: my partner was told to remove his fedora hat—petty, outdated, and unnecessary. Strike two: I was told there would be no separate checks, only a forced split down the middle. Rigid policy, zero grace. Strike three: My friend was told she could not taste a white wine ordered by the glass. At this price point, that’s unacceptable. Then came the moment that eclipsed everything else. We decided to leave. The owner, Chris, told us that we didn’t belong there. We were a diverse group, respectful, longtime patrons, and paying customers. That statement crossed a line from poor service into outright disrespect. This wasn’t about tradition or standards—it was about exclusion and tone. A restaurant’s legacy collapses the moment its hospitality does. One star. A deeply disappointing end to a 25-year loyalty.”
