Established in 2015 in SoHo, MAMO takes its name after the family nickname of Mikaël "Mamo" Mammoliti. Inspired by the tradition and warmth of his Italian grandfather Angelo "Mamo" Mammoliti and raised in the restaurant industry in the South of France with his father, Mike with the help of his partners Chef Salvatore Marcello and Steven Fruman brought a modern twist on Italian nostalgia by introducing MAMO. MAMO is located at 931 Brickell Avenue in Miami and 323 West Broadway in SoHo and is open for lunch and dinner daily. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
“I had a really nice experience here. The restaurant has a cozy, warm atmosphere and feels very inviting. The service was excellent — very kind and attentive throughout the meal. The food was great, and everything we ordered was really enjoyable. The espresso martini was also very good (I just didn’t get a picture of that one). Overall, it was a lovely experience and I would definitely come back.”
“I loved this place. It was so nice inside and the food was amazing. My waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable about all the times. It was a tad warm in there that’s my only negative. If you’re in Miami, 100% go here. We ordered a few drinks and they were perfect.”
“Extremely positive experience from the minute we walked in. We were greeted by Ricardo and immediately sat with Lucas who offered a wide array of recommendations that really fulfilled our taste palette. The truffles are the signature ingredient for many dishes here so started with the Braised Artichokes and Burrata paired with truffles . Its been 3 weeks and I cant stop thinking about these appetizers. Capelli d' angelo and Fish of the Day were our entrees which were excellent as well. And lastly the desserts pistachio dessert + creme bruele selection was the perfect way to finish the evening. The glass assortment of gummies made it even more memorable and a great touch. I cant recommend this place again and looking forward to my next visit. Thank you to the staff and owner Mike!”
“Escaped New York for the long holiday weekend and my first meal was at MAMO. Wow! I love this place! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The artichokes with truffles was delicious and the angel hair pasta with shrimp was like being in Italy! Excellent cocktails and wine list. The staff was amazing. Very sophisticated and well-dressed crowd which elevates the overall experience. It really does. No sweatpants or Crocs here! Highly recommend!”
“Visited Mamo Miami while in town from New York and going to the Miami Open tennis tournament and overall had a solid experience. We didn’t have a reservation and were turned away from the main dining room due to wearing shorts, but ended up sitting outside, which was perfectly fine for us on a Monday evening in March. The food was definitely the highlight. I had the shrimp with angel hair pasta and pistachios, which was flavorful and well-balanced. My friend ordered a truffle dish that was rich and enjoyable, though slightly on the salty side. Service was good but not exceptional—attentive enough without being overly memorable. The atmosphere, on the other hand, was top-tier. Even from the outdoor seating, you could feel the upscale, lively vibe that the place is known for. Overall, a strong 4/5 experience. Great food and ambiance, just be mindful of the dress code if you’re hoping to sit inside.”
