Established in 2015 in SoHo, MAMO takes its name after the family nickname of Mikaël ´Mamo’ Mammoliti. Inspired by the tradition and warmth of his Italian grandfather Angelo 'Mamo' Mammoliti and raised in the restaurant industry in the South of France with his father, Mike with the help of his partners Chef Salvatore Marcello and Steven Fruman brought a modern twist on Italian nostalgia by introducing MAMO. MAMO is located at 323 West Broadway in SoHo and 931 Brickell Avenue in Miami and is open for lunch and dinner daily. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
“My husband and I have had excellent pasta all over the city so we were surprised by how impressed we were by Mamo! Pappardelle and shrimp angel hair were so good, and the eggplant parm was the best I've ever had. Vibe was chic and great for couples or girls night.”
“What an incredible Sunday dinner we had! Such an amazing and friendly staff, they made my Son’s birthday celebration most festive and memorable! Food is divine and atmosphere very very special! Thank you so much for beautiful moments that we will never forget!”
“MAMO is one of those restaurants that immediately makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a classic Italian hideaway, and I loved every minute of it. The old-world Italian vibe is warm, timeless, and effortlessly chic — exactly what you want when dining in SoHo. The location couldn’t be better, tucked right into the neighborhood and perfect for either a planned night out or a spontaneous dinner. The food was truly exceptional, especially if you’re a truffle enthusiast. We leaned fully into the truffle menu and it did not disappoint. The truffle risotto was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced without feeling heavy. The truffle pizza was indulgent in the best way — crisp crust, generous truffle flavor, and beautifully executed. Even the truffle fries stood out, crispy and addictive, and impossible to stop eating once you start. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared and high quality, not gimmicky. To end the meal, we had the tiramisu, which was the perfect finale. Light, classic, and not overly sweet, it struck that ideal balance that so many places miss. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the overall experience felt polished yet relaxed. MAMO is the kind of place you’ll want to return to — whether for a cozy dinner, a celebratory night out, or simply to indulge in great Italian food in one of the best spots in the city. Highly recommend.”
“Unbelievable atmosphere. Beautiful decor, tasteful lighting, comfortable dining space with limited room noise. A-lister crowd and impeccable service from a great team. Magnificent cocktail list and some really good apps and entrees. Definitely will return.”
“We visited this lovely Italian restaurant with my family to celebrate our mom’s birthday. There were five of us. The service was wonderful — the staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was good, but I wouldn’t say it was anything special. My husband didn’t like the meat dish he ordered, and my mom’s pasta was too spicy. My pasta, however, was perfectly fine. The atmosphere inside is very pleasant — I would even describe it as romantic.”
