“If you’re looking for a great dining experience in the Shem Creek area, I highly recommend Ty’s Roadside Coastal Kitchen. The location is easy to access, and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. One thing we really appreciated was the noise level—it was lively without being overwhelming, making it easy to enjoy a conversation with friends throughout the meal. The service was spot on. Our server was courteous, friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the menu. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent. Portion sizes were well balanced—plenty of food without being excessive—and the overall value was outstanding. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for the Charleston area. The menu offered a great selection without being overloaded with too many choices. There was enough variety that everyone in our group found something they were excited to order. For appetizers, I highly recommend the Shrimp Toast and the Hush Puppies. Both were excellent and a great way to start the meal. Every entrée that came to our table looked fantastic, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selection. Overall, Ty’s Roadside Coastal Kitchen delivered a great combination of atmosphere, service, food quality, and value. We would definitely recommend giving it a try, and we’ll be back the next time we’re traveling through the area.”

“Love this place! I ate here for the first time this evening with my mom and aunt, who love it…and it was so enjoyable. Fun, energetic atmosphere with delicious food and great service. I got the smash burger which was delicious. My mom got the half chicken which was also delicious (I tried hers!), and my aunt got the shrimp toast. She liked it. I tried the gravy on top and it was amazing. Last was the brownie which was decadent and lovely. Parking around back, clean bathrooms, patio seating. Reservations recommended…”
