“This was a nice restaurant. We had a reservation earlier in the evening which was perfect before it became too busy and loud. Beautiful views. I love crab cakes and have to try them if they are on the menu. I would give these crab cakes an 8/10. The Crab was tasty, but definitely could taste there was some filler. The remoulade was on the vinegar-y side which is preferred in my opinion. Drinks were also tasty. Service was solid and attentive despite it being busy by the end of the night.”

“We went to Water’s Edge Restaurant for a work dinner, right along a lively, bustling stretch of waterfront lined with boats and neighboring restaurants. It’s one of those areas where there’s always something to look at, which adds to the overall experience. You can choose between indoor and outdoor seating. We went with inside, which worked well for our group. We had a reservation and were a pretty large party, but everything flowed smoothly. We started with a round of appetizers including Oysters Rockefeller, fried calamari, and seared tuna coated in sesame seeds. All great choices and easy to share. For the main course, the table covered a lot of ground. The fried whole fish was a standout visually and on flavor. Shrimp Scampi & crab cakes were tasty. The low country shrimp and grits were especially good, made with a stone ground yellow grit cake that gave it a rich, hearty texture. There was also a fresh salad in the mix to balance things out. We wrapped things up with key lime pie, which hit that perfect sweet and tangy note. Service was warm and attentive, especially considering the size of our group, which is always appreciated. Overall, a solid, enjoyable meal in a relaxed waterfront setting with plenty of energy around you.”
