“Amalfi made my daughter's 17th birthday celebration absolutely amazing. The service was above and beyond, and our waitress was attentive, friendly, and truly helped make the evening special. “After waiting almost 30 minutes without getting water or having our order taken at another nearby establishment, we decided to go to Trattoria Amalfi as we only another 40 minutes left at that point to catch a movie. We didn’t catch our server’s name but she, the hostess that had us promptly seated, the kitchen staff, and the staff member that helped package our remaining food to go were so accommodating, understanding and quick with service. We ordered 4 appetizers (pictured) to try and help with the speed and ended up also ordering a total of 3 drinks (various lemonades - alcoholic and non alcoholic, 10/10 and refreshing). Everything was so delicious and super filling and service was again top tier! They had our food out in about 10 minutes and we ended up having almost 10 minutes to spare after eating. Thank you to our server and all of the staff for saving and being a highlight to our date night! Highly recommend Trattoria Amalfi if you want great food and great service!”

“Dinner at Amalfi Trattoria was absolutely fantastic. From the moment the food hit the table you could tell this place takes pride in every detail. We started with a beautiful spread of appetizers. The stuffed clams were packed with flavor and perfectly baked, and the salad was fresh, vibrant, and balanced with citrus and almonds. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed. For the mains, the steak with broccolini was cooked perfectly and served with a rich sauce that tied the dish together beautifully. The roasted chicken dish was tender and juicy with roasted vegetables and a silky gravy that tasted like it came straight from an Italian grandmother’s kitchen. Even the mashed potatoes were next level — creamy, buttery, and clearly made from scratch. Dessert sealed the deal. The crème brûlée had that perfect caramelized crack on top and the tiramisu was light, rich, and authentic. Paired with cappuccino, it was the perfect ending to a great meal. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, the plating is elegant, and the food quality punches well above what you expect from a small coastal town restaurant. If you are anywhere near Mystic and want real Italian flavors, great presentation, and a memorable dinner, Amalfi Trattoria is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended. “Delicious food, professional service and cozy atmosphere. I was surprised to discover this restaurant right near Mystic Aquarium The food was delicious. I loved the grilled octopus and my son loved their French fries and foot long hotdog. Black Manhattan cocktail was good also. The server was professional and he accommodated all our requests. Great location. The restaurant has a full bar on premises, and kids menu.”

“A beautiful, delicious restaurant in a charming little area of Mystic! The staff was phenomenal- friendly, informative, helpful, and quick with all of our food/drink orders without making us feel rushed! They made adjustments to our orders with no complaints, making us feel more than welcome and not like an obnoxious burden as other places have in the past. The atmosphere was fun, light, and welcoming. We had two young children with us, one of whom is an extremely picky eater, and we found this restaurant to be very kid friendly, with more than one option for them to consider and enjoy! Both of the adults in our group greatly enjoyed every single thing that we ate and drank as well! Such phenomenal staff and delicious food, we will definitely be back the next time that we are in the area!”
