Welcome to Audrey—the flagship restaurant of Chef Sean Brock. Audrey is Sean's most personal project-to-date inspired by his Appalachian roots and the food traditions of the rural South.
“I came here on a first date and he suggested we split an entree on NYE. I went home hungry.. but I fell in love with the AUDREY at first sight! I came back with my sister for breakfast and ordered half the menu. I loved everything! Follow my IG Lillypulitzerstylist where I review three Nashville restaurants each week Here is what I tried : * Deviled eggs - 4.8 stars. Only wish I had more * Carrot loaf - 100 stars. I didn't want to share this bc it was so darn good. The frosting was divine. *French Toast - 100 stars. One of my favorite things. The buttermilk whipped cream was DELICIOUS. This is small. Not your typical huge French toast. And the plating & presentation was darling * Biscuits & Gravy - 5 stars. Delicious. Clearly made from scratch. Set a new standard for biscuits and gravy. *Catfish & grits - 3 stars. Not my favorite. Not many grits. It just wasn't the traditional "shrimp & grits" *Bear Creek Farm Beef AKA steak & eggs - 5 stars. I would get this again and again. Very delicious, cut and quality meat. * Cheeseburger & Fries - 4 stars I love the ambience & decor of this place! I love that you can look into the kitchen and see everyone at work! My service wasn't the best when I went for brunch. But my dinner service was excellent. We went upstairs to check out the bar. Really cool space..”
“Some of the best food we’ve ever had in Nashville. The atmosphere is amazing, the open kitchen gives a personal feel to the whole experience. The flavors are delicious, having a certain comforting feel and taste to them. The trout was the star of the show for me. Wonderfully fresh, light and full of flavor. Major plus; the drinks were incredible, well-balanced and refreshing. Highly recommend”
“We had a fantastic experience. I’m a big foodie and the folks I was with are tough to impress. Our experience started off with the most Michelin butter i’ve ever experienced. I completely understand why these people got their Michelin accolade. The butter really wowed me and elevated the entire meal. The biscuits were sensational! We are big biscuit folks. We ordered a second round at the end of our meal. I was blown away by the salad because I would never put blue cheese or nuts in my salad, but they all worked together beautifully. It was one of my favorite dishes of the meal. The mushrooms were good, but it was a little too heavy on the cheese for me. The beef stew is excellent however it’s not soupy. Which was fine for me. I was nervous about trying the catfish but I was committed to trying the traditional Appalachian cuisine, and it did not disappoint. As I was entertaining out of town, guests, giving them a taste of traditional Appalachian cuisine with a modern twist was the perfect addition to the Nashville trip itinerary. After dinner, we went upstairs just to take a look at the bar and we were so impressed with the aesthetic and the hospitality the bartenders offered. They tried to convince us to stay for a drink, but our Uber was on the way, so we compromised with a delicious mixed shot. No one could taste the alcohol. It was fantastic. I also want to give a shout out to the gentleman who was our very knowledge sommelier. He did a great job helping us choose the right wine and even gave us a sample of something else to try for next time. Whether you’re in Nashville local or visiting from out of town, Audrey is an absolute must!”
“We had such an amazing Valentine’s dinner at Audrey! The atmosphere is so fun and cozy with a really elegant feel. And the service is the highest quality of hospitality, our server Bryan knew the dishes inside and out and answered all our questions! The food was the best meal we’ve had in Nashville and both me and my partner grew up here. The staff and kitchen went out of their way to put personal touches to our meal and it really made the night so magical for us, thank you all of Audrey!”
“We drove 7.5 hours and planned our vacation around coming to Audrey. Our entire experience was 10/10. The bartender was so nice and knowledgeable. She set the tone for the experience we would have. Staff were professional, attentive, and personable. The food was literally the best bite in every bite. We had the Chef’s menu which was worth every penny. My ultimate favorite was the veggie crisps that they made from leftover vegetables, and topped with onion puree and the most delicate flowers. It was mind blowing. The chef’s menu was A TON of food. This restaurant was the pinnacle of our trip, and worth all the hype. Go here!”
