“We we're craving fried okra and found out they had the best. Truth be told, it's true! We both had a side of okra and a beer draw mid-afternoon. Truly hit the spot being downtown. It was hot, crispy and fresh! Exactly what we we're seeking.”
“I just popped in for a naughty late night snack after arriving to Nashville. Since it was late, I opted for a MILD hot chicken sandwich…although the breading was nice and crispy, the flavor on the sandwich was limited. The bartender Zach was awesome and a nice guy and made great margaritas.”
“We kicked things off with one proper American breakfast with crispy bacon, golden cheesy hash browns, and biscuits and gravy oh and don’t forget the eggs. The other meal had 2 eggs stacked proudly on a warm, buttery biscuit with bacon. The biscuit was fluffy yet sturdy, soaking up the yolk like it was made for the job. It was hearty without being heavy, the kind of plate that makes you feel like the day’s already off to a winning start. Also I would solely just go back for the casserole hash. It was bomb! And then came the Bloody Mary. Bold, balanced, and spiced just enough to wake up the senses without overwhelming them. At only $9, it felt like a small luxury that didn’t break the bank. What really elevated the experience, though, was the service. Our server was genuinely kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable while the kitchen took some time to cook over meals.”
“This food was amazing. Got the shrimp and grits with a little bit of sausage thrown in there. It was a little soupier than expected, but the flavor was on the mark. The cocktails were great as well, was recommended the smash and was quite pleased with it. We were there a little on the earlier side so the restaurant was a little quiet, but with the love music stage I could see it being a good time when it fills in.”
“Nice place to eat, but food is just OK. Dont order steak as it was super fatty, expensive and not the best choice. The staff was super accomodating when i pointed out the issues with the meat and promptly resolves. Nice space with a good vibe. Nice patio to watch the world go by. Will go back”
