Located in Nashville’s historic Hermitage Hotel, The Pink Hermit is a casually elegant Italian-inspired café by Chef Jean-Georges. The light-filled space features both indoor as well as outdoor seating and evolves through the day, offering La Colombe coffee and in-house baked pastries in the morning, to unique bruschetta's, pizzas, salads, craft cocktails, artisanal wines and Aperitivo Hour in the evenings. It is a place that can be your first stop of the day, and your last stop of the night.
“Tucked into a cozy corner of The Hermitage Hotel, the coffee here is solid—locally roasted with house-baked pastries—and the pink decor and French café vibe makes it feel really aesthetically pleasing and inviting. Great spot whether you want to chat with a friend or knock out some work, plus they transition to craft cocktails and wine in the evenings which is a nice touch. Overall a charming little escape from the Broadway chaos.”
“This is the perfect little spot for a Mommy Daughter Date or a girls brunch, though it is perfectly suitable for any diners as well. The French influence and calm atmosphere provides a great space to talk or work. And the service is excellent! I highly recommend the chocolate cake with whipped marshmallow topping as it reminds me of the decadent-looking chocolate cake from Matilda!”
“The place seems really nice and very cute. We just dropped by to get some drinks to go and a little dessert. The drinks weren't too bad. Just a little disappointed that we paid for the last coconut cake but they accidentally gave it to the customers that ordered after us, so we were given the cheesecake instead which was very delicious.”
“This place is ideally located by TPAC and we have come here 3x before shows on Sundays. Food and drinks are good but extremely pricey. Service is awful in the late afternoon/evening. They have a menu upfront that had incorrect prices and incorrect happy hour specials. Spoke with manager - not much enthusiasm to correct going forward, pretty much just shrugged and said “we try to push people downstairs” - they did remove one of the drinks to price correct our bill. It is so unfortunate because if this place ran efficiently like someone cared, it could be amazing.”
“Only popped in for a cocktail while passing through. I ordered the French press espresso martini. I definitely had kick! And it was very frothy. Something I needed after having been awake and traveling for 13+hours! Omg they charge a LBT that is a liquid beverage tax of three dollars on one drink. Plus the regular tax plus tip. So a 4 ounce espresso martini will run you $28 absolutely ridiculous. I will NOT be back.”
