“What an absolute gem! The staff is so warm and welcoming; we felt immediately at ease. The wine selection was fun - enjoyed a great sparkling wine. It was wonderful to be able to watch food being prepared while sitting at the bar. Both food items we ordered were stupidly delicious - more than potatoes or beans have any right to be. Bonus points for the adorable boutique along the wall. I wish I had more time to explore all the options. Bathrooms were also a treat. Love love love.”

“Did not expect this unassuming cafe to produce some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The Turkish eggs were out of this world. Perfectly cooked and spiced, homemade focaccia - good lord! My husband loved his eggs benedict with tasty biscuit and ham. We shared a strawberry shrub, a drink that tasted just like fresh strawberries (or better!). We will be back for the homemade soft serve!”

The staff is warm and charming and seem to all work so well together. The wine list is small but expertly curated. Just a 10/10 I wish we had something like this in my city. “My husband and I went for the first time this past Sunday. If you want to have an authentic New Orleans dining experience - Bar Pomona is the place. The staff was on a first name basis with most of the diners. Intimate and chill. Needless to say the food and drink were 10/10. Thanks Chef Eliza!”
