“We had a wonderful brunch in an energetic atmosphere with outstanding service. We sat at the bar which we will request in the future so that we can watch the chef prepare food and while the servers work seamlessly. We had a couple of delicious Bloody Mary’s that had the right amount of spice. For our meal, we had the Huevos Rancheros and the Jumbo Lump Crab Benedict. Both were delicious with delicate seasonings to enhance the flavor of the dish. Added another Bloody Mary and Mimosa to finish the brunch with the lemon ricotta pancakes. The pancakes are light, fluffy and flavorful. An enjoyable atmosphere with great food, we’ll be back.”
“In the days leading up to our reservation we heard from several locals that this place is phenomenal and they were right! I can recommend the cacio and pepe, arancini, mushroom and leek pizza, roasted carrots (my friend hates carrots but loved these!), and cornmeal biscuits! For dessert the chocolate tahini brownie was decadent especially because we swapped out the coconut ice cream for the dark chocolate sorbet.”
“Very different atmosphere compared to other places we have been to in New Orleans. Definitely a little further than we wanted to go and it is next to a power plant. But the food and the service were impact-able. Our server was phenomenal. The drinks were amazing. Definitely farm to table feel. The squid ink shrimp pasta were out of the world. We also tried their brick oven, thin crust pizza, which was amazing.”
“It's rare to go somewhere and order 6 dishes and them all be outstanding. But this was an amazing meal. Super cool spot in a historic warehouse with amazing and quick service. We got the local lettuce, which was so fresh and flavorful with some nice crunch, and the carrot dish which was so comforting and delicious. We got parpadelle, mushroom and margarita pizza, and the steak for entree. Steak was cooked perfectly with some light chimichurri. Pasta was al dente with delicious meat sauce and the pizzas were awesome too. We got ice cream which was very unique and fresh. Two bottles of wine were lovely and we enjoyed everything”
“If you expect an authentic Italian place, this is not it. They’re trying, but it just didn’t feel authentic. The pizza was really not good — the crust was very hard, and the ranch dressing on the merguez pizza completely threw off the flavor. The spaghetti, however, were great. Still, overall I wouldn’t go back. No recommendation from me.”
