“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Besamé was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful, welcoming, and full of charm. One of the ladies came over and took the time to personally explain the menu to us, which made the experience feel so special and appreciated. You can tell they truly care about their guests. The food was incredible! Every dish was presented beautifully, but it wasn’t just pretty to look at—it was SO freaking good! Every bite was packed with flavor, and we kept saying how impressed we were throughout the meal. Great service, amazing food, and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in New Orleans!”
“Really enjoyed Besame. The steak had a great char, was cooked right, and the chimichurri tied everything together without being too heavy. The potatoes were crispy, loaded with flavor, and disappeared quick. Also had a pisco cocktail that was refreshing and easy to drink. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, and friendly service”
“We went around 1 on a Friday afternoon, so the lunch crowd had already disbursed. Service was quick and courteous. Atmosphere was quiet, but the decor was festive. Restaurant was quite clean and comfortable. We came based on the great reviews and the close proximity to our hotel. The location was unassuming (don’t miss it!) what we found was a gem that definitely should not be overlooked. All the reviews were not fake. We spent $100 which included 1 appetizer (ceviche negro our least favorite because one of us does not do spicy) and 3 tapas (we had one plate we took to go), 1 beer, 1 wine, and 20% tip. The best was the crawfish queso, which we put on our pork arripas. It was the perfect blend of creamy and savory (I was tempted to lick the bowl!) the empanadas we took to go. We will definitely return and highly recommend!”
“Ceviche (first one on the menu, recommended by server) was very bland and terrible and the guac was mediocre. The paella was quite good (we don't like mussels so skipped that), really good, and the chicken poblano was also flavorful. The fried plantains as a side (instead of dessert) was top notch.”
“We came for brunch and were surprised to find it was not busy at all - especially since the food was so good! Nearly the whole menu is gluten free and celiac safe. The service was excellent- knowledge, attentive and expeditious. Vibrant decor and located right inside a hotel. We’ll definitely be back.”
