“I stopped in this delicious restaurant at 10:45am and was immediately welcomed with a smile and a hello from each employee....i was lucky to be able to have the breakfast and lunch menus since they served breakfast until 11am.... Wow, the grits were the best; ordered them as my first course with a side of beautiful bacon... 2nd course was a side salad, with fresh veggies (spinach, cucumber, tomato, cheese, croutons)... And then chose a trio of cups of delicious New Orleans cuisine (seafood gumbo, jambalaya, red beans & sausage & rice)... I wanted dessert, but could not fit more .... My plan to taste-test failed because each dish was so delicious that I kept eating it.... Im coming back later to try the key lime pie.... Brittney was a brilliant server: she knew the menu, helped me with recommendations, and she did not rush at all on my taste-testing journey.... The pictures do not do it justice... Highly recommend Coterie 💙”
“Wow! The oyster was awesome, the customers are friendly, the athmophere was relaxed, and our server (kaitlin?) was not pushy, but attentive. It was happy hour so the bar area was busy. Overall, the Bienville became our favorite. I highly recommend this place. Our hotel (Hotel St. Marie) recommended this place. We saw the other oyster bar recommendations, we ended up at this place and we are glad we did.”
“Fried pickles were spicy for me but good. My beef debris po'boy was good, but idk that id get it again for the cost. My friend got the oysters and said they were good & she could have eaten 12 instead of 6. Nice atmosphere Waitress was good.”
“Charbroiled Oysters were very good. A must try if your a fist timer to New Orleans. We especially liked the Blackened Shrimp Salad. We enjoyed the Catfish with a crab type sauce. They charged us $5 for for additional sauce which was disappointing since the meal didn’t have enough for both pieces of fish. But the dish tasted great. We also had the crab cake. We lived in Maryland for years so our standards for crab is pretty high. This one was pretty good. Service was very attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant overall is very nice. You can come a bit dressy or be casual and be comfortable in either attire. We went twice to give you an idea of how we enjoyed it”
“This restaurant is much more casual than what we expected. We were referred here by our concierge at the hotel. It was good. My daughter really liked her burger and I ordered the parmesan crusted grouper. They really do give you a pretty big piece of fish so it was definitely worth the price”
