“Super cool tiki bar that fits the theme to a T. The food is delicious and the drinks are fantastic. I tried a number of different cocktails after going a couple days in a row, including the pandan painkiller (My favorite), pearl diver, their namesake latitude 29, and mango lasso. The food was just as taste with the salmon crudo, pork belly bao, and the ever so tasty musubi. Would highly recommend!”
“Absolutely amazing NOLA find! Happy hour specials are awesome, drinks are killer and well crafted, food is even more outstanding I can’t been believe it. Crab Rangoon poppers on HH was awesome. So fresh. We also got the lumpia, garlic shrimp with miso garlic toum (you can cover me in that sauce till I die), chili crisp potatoes, and the meow bao which were catfish. Super fresh, super flavorful - only thing I wish that had a sauce or acidity was the catfish but it was still so good. Jorge our server (forgive me if you spell it differently!) was so awesome - definitely recommend asking him to serve ya if you want a stellar time.”
“Used Google reviews to find a place with small plates and Tiki inspired cocktails and this place was as advertised! It’s definitely dark in here and probably more of a place for a romantic dinner than three guys between meetings, but the food came out very fast, was all hot and fresh and the tiki inspired drinks, including the nonalcoholic one was on point. Our server, Jorge, had a Hawaiian inspired vibe but at the same time was professional, efficient and friendly. Don’t miss the pu pu platter! It may seem expensive, but it is a ton of food and all really creative. Also had the Meow Bao with fried catfish filling and the burger and fries were also on point. In short this is not a restaurant trying to do traditional New Orleans food, but something completely unique to the city and done very well.”
“WOW, this place is the ultimate atmosphere for a laid back tiki bar. Incredible and unique tiki drinks (strong), and out of this world tasty food. You really can not go wrong with anything you order. The pad thai with crab meat was so delicious we ended up ordering a second one. So many flavors in every sip and bite. Service was superb. Can not say enough positive things about this experience. Definitely we'll be back.”
“I made a special effort to visit as I am well aware of Beachbum Berry’s tiki cocktails and have his book. So this was something of a pilgrimage for me. I loved the tiki design venue and the food choices. What made it for me was the warm and professional service. Fantastic cocktails and genuine interest shown in me by the bar staff as I was a big tiki fan. I’d loved to have met the Beachbum to sign my book but he wasn’t there that evening. Highly recommended”
