Nestled behind the Hotel Eventi lobby, Back Bar takes pride in offering a curated selection of thirty cocktails that change with each season, showcasing the creativity and expertise of Beverage Director, Jason Hedges. With the added charm of live music on select nights, and the occasional cameo from some of New York’s best bartenders, Back Bar is a hidden gem for cocktail enthusiasts all around. Back Bar is a tastefully designed and visually stunning space that captures the essence of modern elegance via mid-century decor, soft lighting, and an inviting ambience. The interior of the space has been designed by interiors firm, Creme, with supporting creative direction from Reunion Goods & Services. The interconnected rooms feature an eclectic collection of objects and furniture, sourced by ‘we came in peace’, as well as an impressive contemporary art collection curated by Kyle Dewoody.

“We came here before a concert at MSG. We were looking for something quick and searched for a bar with “bites”. This place exceeded all expectations. The vibe/decor is amazing… shelves, books, cozy couches, chairs…. Think Barnes and Noble “after dark”. The drinks tasted pretty good. The honey badger comes with a huge block of ice that takes up most of the real estate in the whiskey glass… and after a few sips, you wonder why only ice is left (could have used a bit more of “drink” a little less ice). The mulled cider was good too and they have a small but good selection of craft beers. The wings were really good, sweet, spicy, cooked well (still juicy), and the wings were a good size too. The burger was pretty good, standard fare for an upscale bar burger. The server was excellent and attentive. We had an excellent experience here.”

“I was here for the 67 orange street residency and i have to be honest. I LOVE IT. the 67 orange street residency brings alot of life to this bar. I enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. The decor. It felt like a piece of Harlem downtown. Love !”

“Stop by Back Bar located in the back of the Kimpton Hotel to relax and unwind your day. With a variety of beers, ciders, wines, cocktails, mocktails, and bites, there’s something for everybody. Their friendly staff took our order of three different kinds of our favorite cocktail, Old Fashioned, along with one refreshing cocktail. They even have an extra fancy Pappy Old Fashioned made with the 10 Year Pappy Van Winkle. It’s an amazing experience to enjoy a Pappy cocktail in a cozy, warm, dimly lit lounge type with an amazing margherita pizza.”

“Part of the hotel and staple spot. Classic American bites. Went with a friend for cocktails (spritz) as well as got turkey club and burger. Good size portions, cute atmosphere with tons of space, and service was quick. Defs a solid spot for a good bite- recommend”

“Stopped by Back Bar on a Saturday evening, reservations in hand, but the place was surprisingly quiet. Located in a hotel lobby, the bar has plenty of space. We swung by for drinks only, ordering the Early Harvest and Lemongrass Daiquiri - both well-made. The staff was friendly. Decor was stylish, and prices reasonable. A solid spot for groups or dates, though not particularly memorable.”
