“fantastic experience front to back. I was rather taken away with the cool, dim and almost cavern-like ambiance. the decor and furnishings were truly on point, though I especially appreciated the commitment to the 50s-era jazzy Brill Building girl group music with the song choices. the service was flawless, as the team was not only quite sharp and educated, but also quite courteous and subtle in their motions and maintenance of the table. the cocktails were uncompromising and rather bold execution-wise (which I happen to personally enjoy). the food was well-received by the table and we all ultimately enjoyed our stay :)) I’m excited to return to this speakeasy one day!”

“George Bang Bang is a 5-star experience and an absolute gem of a speakeasy. We walked in and were able to grab a table that had a short reservation window, which worked out perfectly. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d want from a speakeasy—intimate, stylish, and a great vibe all around. The drinks were delicious and thoughtfully crafted—easily some of the best we’ve had. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for a unique night out or just great cocktails in a cool setting!”

“For the amount of times I’ve been here and the amount of people I’ve recommended this spot to, I can’t believe I haven’t left a review. This place is absolutely one of the best cocktail bars in Manhattan. The ambiance is sexy and dark with an intimate red velvet back bar highlighting their amazing spirits. The bartenders work with precision and have such a stylish look. The secretive entrance is one you must experience in person, it’s great to take your friends from out of town. The space is tight but they make the most of every inch, as any New Yorker would. crafted cocktails are all unbelievable and they can basically make you anything within reason. Will upload pics of my favorites but they do change some their house cocktails often. If you haven’t been here, GO! And shots come in such an adorable antique tea cup… everything is so curated and elegant! Usually I’m coming here after work so I haven’t really had any food here, but they do offer some bar snacks.”

Shout out to Alex, Kevin, and the team; they did an awesome job. Thank you for the recommendations. I tried Dos Fridas cocktail; it is the best Ramos Fizz variations I have ever tried, very delicious. I also tried the Midnight Cowboy, an awesome Old Fashioned cocktail (Apple and miso butter-infused whiskey). The flavor combination is well balanced and delicious.”
