“The staff was extremely friendly! I came with 2 of my girl friends. We felt welcomed and taken cared of throughout the night. Luis served us and he made sure we were accommodated. The staff gave us edamame and mochi ice creams on the house. Thank you so much for your warm kindness and welcome. We will be coming back for our future girl’s nights!”
“Had a great experience at Bondi Sushi! We ordered one of each of their specialty rolls, and every single one was delicious. The rolls were fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced, with each offering its own unique combination of tastes and textures. It was hard to pick a favorite because they were all so good. We also tried the Surf and Turf, which was excellent. The dish was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, making it a great complement to the sushi. The drinks were equally enjoyable and paired well with the meal. Overall, the food, drinks, and quality of the ingredients made for a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Bondi Sushi to anyone looking for great sushi and a fun dining atmosphere.”
“Chef Karma, Maria, and Leo were awesome. Maria and Leo’s service was super! and made the whole experience welcoming. The variety of pieces is pretty on point. They have everything from crispy rice to lots of nigiri and hand roll options, so there’s a lot to choose from without it feeling overwhelming. The bar is small, but that’s actually part of the charm. It feels lively and fun, and because of the variety, it’s the perfect spot for a date. Definitely a hidden gem that I’d recommend to anyone looking for great sushi and a good experience.”
“We came to Bondi sushi before going to a show on Broadway. This was low-key and lovely. The decor makes you feel like you're swimming in an ocean. Service was friendly and efficient and we had plenty of time to get to our show. Sushi was fresh and we enjoyed handheld rolls and the Toro. My favorite item was lobster crispy rice rolls and yuzu crème brûlée.”
“Whether it's omakase or standard orders of their nigiri or rolls, it's going to taste good. Their duck fried rice is amazing and yuzu creme brulee is a pleasure to eat. The staff are also accommodating and friendly. They'll even pour your drinks for you if you order a bottle. It may be considered a bit cramped for some people and the big asterisk is the price point. Clocking in at $8-12 for two pieces of nigiri and approximately the same for a hand roll, it's not a place for people who want to eat a lot. The hot plates and entrees are almost all above $20 and not particularly large. This is a place to enjoy good food at decent portions. It won't leave you hungry, but it definitely won't be a price everyone wants to shell out. Those who are price conscious should wait for the happy hour specials. They wear their desired clientele on their sleeves with a modern aesthetic, well made but small portions, and expensive drink menu.”
