“Best place I’ve eaten in NYC. The sushi was delicious and the best salmon and miso soup I’ve ever had. We ended our meal with plum wine and green tea creme brulee — yum!! The best part of our experience was the waiter, who was so charming and had the best recommendations! I cannot recommend this place enough.”
“I had such a great experience at this Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice, modern, clean, and relaxing, which made it a perfect place to enjoy dinner. The vibe felt cozy but still elegant. The food was amazing, especially the fresh fish. You can really taste the quality. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, soft, and full of flavor. Every slice melted in your mouth. The sushi was also beautifully prepared and tasted just as good as it looked. Everything felt very high quality and carefully made. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and you can tell they pay attention to detail. It made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. If you love fresh fish, sashimi, and sushi, this place is definitely worth visiting. I would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!”
“Excellent restaurant!! As all blue ribbon restaurants are.. professional prepared sushi with extremely fresh fish. Top quality from a to z. We enjoyed the sushi sashimi deluxe platter, otoro tataki app, crispy rice with spicy tuna. And of coarse the blue ribbon roll!”
“Great sushi restaurant. I enjoy the pickled vegetable plate. the eggplant was a delight. the escarole had a lot of depth of flavor. The spinach in sesame was a starter I'd go back for again. It is pricey, however the sushi and sashimi are of great quality and are well crafted. The atmosphere is great. Compact and lively.”
“came to brs about 2 years ago and i do remember the sushi being good but the crispy rice sushi not so great and the miso salmon being small. on this occasion i ordered - the special oysters - 4 $19 hokkaido uni (maybe out of season?) - miso salmon - sushi deluxe - sushi sashimi combo - and the mochi ice cream dessert $4 coke which was fine. free green tea. that was nice. anyway service was friendly and attentive. the sushi was just ok. the uni was actually not great. my favorite dishes were the oysters and the miso cod. then the dessert then the sushi. was able to pay via a qr code so that was nice and convenient. but i definitely could have done without the nearly $80 uni that was quite fishy. i should have one tried one first at that price point. smh. learned my lesson hopefully. and the thing about my sushi/sashimi combo… nothing really stood out. all the fish were regular. if they would have included scallop, sweet shrimp, or ikura, it would have been elevated but i received some fishier cuts of mackerel which i’m not super into.”
